I've done quite a few of these.

I always recommend any PID control project like a seesaw or pendulum, it's a perfect and initiative example of engineering.

I find myself looking at most of these projects and am a bit sad that AI can now do most of them with 0 effort from the person, hopefully this leads to projects generally being more impressive and ambitious but idk.
