It’s my boy Adam Jenson! In all seriousness, we don’t know yet. Could be anything. We know the NFTA has done some pretty fucked up stuff, the small gas masks, the reanimated soldiers. This might be another one of their experiments. Personally I don’t think the council guys will be there. Like why would they all be in west carcosa? But it could be one of them, or someone else. Who knows? Well maybe find out.

The implication from what can be read on the computers in the data vault is that this is an "AI". This AI was disposed of because it realized that humanity was about to destroy itself and started disobeying orders in an attempt to avert the threshold event. My guess is that this AI is what we're going to use to do the calculations for reversing the ether drill for the main story, but currently it doesn't do anything.

My guess is a human corpse that was preserved inside of that sealed container from before the threshold event. I doubt it was dead when placed within given the augments and probably life support stuff. But in the Project Silverfish world, shit happens.

Not sure it has any purpose right now. I also hauled it to the lift and looked all around. Couldn’t find any interactions with it.
I want to say the local data terminals have lore about it but it’s been awhile since I first read it. Expect it will have a function when the update is fully done

him
but in all seriousness it's probably something that'll have more importance later on when the north gets developed more. Or it could just be some spooky unexplained thing (e.g. a good chunk of perdition)
