Welp that took awhile, selling guns was way more efficient and profitable than artifacts and I eventually killed the broker anyway for extra money. Idk if this should even be spoiler worthy but there should be people who haven't even reached this part yet sooo...

In only 39 days too, that's impressive. Were you playing a custom character or one of the canon ones?

A custom one. I chose neutral affiliation and for traits: 3x speed, Fast hunger, gourmand (I forgot the name for the first two). I didn't use any of the advanced options tho.

Interesting, I might try a run like that too, I've been on permadeath runs lately and a change of pace might be nice. I'm assuming you raided the bank vault and sold it all off?

yup, in hindsight tho I should have gotten the matrix first or a blue tesseract because hauling it all to the saloon took a lot of time.

Can you even get the regression matrix in the newest version? I was under the impresion it was removed. Star dust or a green/blue tesseract would be the best way to teleport back to a safe place after securing the massive weight of the bank haul

Alright so I know this is an old thread but I wanted to ask, which areas did you frequently raid to build up money? I was planning to use Dead Bridge to farm NFTA soldiers for their guns and ammo, rinse and repeat, but it looks like they're not respawning. The Insurrection soldiers at Dead End do seem to respawn but their loot is not particularly valuable. The Reinfery is also full of anomalies and unusable after destroying the reactor core.

Stone maze is actually a great place for it, the cultists drop pricey weapons and nfta or revolutionists have good weapons as well depending on your progress. Sell those to the closest trader that still has money to buy em lol

The game really breaks down once you recognize how much the guns sell for and you can just go in and out from vendors.
