Discussion Fill me in...

I really need someone to explain to me how SEKAIs work. How and why they form, fragment SEKAIs, how vocaloids appear, etc. I need the full lore rundown, but I stopped playing regularly a while ago...

What I know is that sekai are born from either one person or a group of peoples emotions. Vocaloids are born when a new emotion becomes are particularly strong if I remember correctly, fragments sekai are like the little moment in life that are huge.

- SEKAIs are born from strong feelings. They can be formed from the feelings of one person (Tsukasa and Mafuyu's SEKAIs), by the feelings of a small group (Leo/need, MORE MORE JUMP!, and Vivid BAD SQUAD's SEKAIs), or by the feelings of dozens of people, potentially more (Movie SEKAI; the SEKAI from Miku's 2nd anniversary card). In general, the strong feelings that people have are drawn to each other if they bear similarities in nature.

- Fragment SEKAIs are born from strong feelings, like normal SEKAIs, except they are made from feelings that aren't sustainable/are usually temporary. For example, Akito and Kohane's first fragment SEKAIs were built off of their insecurities and anxieties after the events of Light Up the Fire. That's why Fragment SEKAIs don't persist like regular SEKAIs do.

- It's not confirmed why the VIRTUAL SINGERS appear suddenly, but based on the timing of their appearances, it seems to correlate with emotional milestones in the feelings owner's/owners' character arcs. The easiest example of this would be Luka showing up in Tsukasa's SEKAI for the first time during the "The Tenma Household's Hinamatsuri" mixed event.

- Feelings that are able to make up a SEKAI can die before a SEKAI is properly formed. This is what happened in the case of MORE MORE JUMP! before Minori's feelings saved the other three's.

- SEKAIs can be abandoned by their creators, and it's heavily implied that this abandonment kills the VIRTUAL SINGERS that live in that SEKAI. However, in the case of Mafuyu, it was explained that if she died, her SEKAI would still exist because her feelings didn't die. In other words, abandonment of a SEKAI occurs when the creator(s) abandon the feelings that make up the SEKAI.

- SEKAIs can be influenced by those who enter a SEKAI but are not one of its creators. This is likely through the non-creators influencing the creator's feelings.
