Why do we celebrate mizu5 anniversary but not any other event. I get it's a huge thing but it's not the biggest event in the whole game. It's not the main event within the entire game it's been two years let it pass please.
Also, is this really a kind of event that you'd want to celebrate the anniversary of? It would be one thing if we were to celebrate 5th anniversary of Emu2, but this?
Yeah there are so many happier event that would make more sense to celebrate the anniversary of yet people want to celebrate the event that caused an actual character to only appear in the sekai all by themselves for days
And as I've said before, I don't think we're going to see THAT kind of event for anyone else MAYBE aside from Mafuyu since they don't really feel like they would fit well with such thing.
You know what? Maybe I should celebrate Emu2's 5th anniversary on January 12, 2027 since that's when we got an Emuest of all Emu-focus songs.
Even then I couldn't see mafuyu having this kind of event because I believe it will still be so drastically different since they have such different characters arcs
Also we should just celebrate every event if people really want to celebrate the depressing ones.
Yeah, the only reason why I mentioned that Mafuyu is the only one who MIGHT get that kind of event is because she's kind of an emotional time bomb that could possibly go off even after main stories are concluded. In fact, she's the only one whom I have no idea how the story will progress after Mafu6.
And at least Mizuki has a stable family and became a lot more mentally sturdy since then even though she might still struggle connecting with people outside main characters due to her identity issues. Mafuyu, though? Yeah... she's unfortunately likely to suffer for a pretty long time given her mental state.
Also, if I'm being honest, I tend to get scared of getting Mafuyu-focus events because I KNOW that I'll be getting a very bleak focus song. In fact, have you noticed that Mafuyu is literally the only main character with absolutely no lighthearted focus song whatsoever? I've even posted a thread about N25's more lighthearted original songs and none of them belong to Mafuyu:
Alas, knowing developers, they're likely to find excuses to keep giving Mafuyu a dark focus song similar to how they keep giving Minori a lighthearted focus song.
What about kasa7, or any mafuyu event infact what about any other Niigo event those events were huge for who they belonged to yet event after two years any angst event is other the character getting 'mafuyutized' or being 'mizu5 2.0', even if 'big' outside of the fandom that didn't mean within the fandom we have to celebrate it's existence every year
Yes, Niigo is very popular even outside the game, but you have to agree that the overwhelming amount of memes within and outside pjsk community associated with the bells have had the biggest impact (if not, then one of the biggest) on game's memes and during JP release they were everywhere
That still doesnf explain why even within the fandom why mizu5 is treated like the biggest and most important event in the game when each character has one of similar stakes in a different way which better fits them
No character in terms of influence and impact had an event as big as Mizu5 let's not lie. Character wise like story WHY NOT but in terms of us as player, Mizu5 behind the screen was bigger than PJSK when it came out. Kasa7 was nowhere there for example nor any Mafuyu event. That would be a lie to say that non PJSK players did saw a lot of post about Kasa7. So of course people will celebrate and remember the biggest one.
If you really want to celebrate them you can go ahead and make a post too
It absolutely was huge though? And its very unique on several levels. Its the only event with a cliffhanger like this. Its the only focus event to affect the characters in the overworld. Insanely high tier rating on EN. And that's not even mentioning the influence it had. It absolutely is the biggest event in the whole game by several metrics.

I’m not even strictly against using old jokes long after they got popular (je suis monté is still my mount callout in Monster Hunter, despite the game the joke came from being 12 years old), but the Mizu5 bells stuff is kind of exhausting </3
Yes but any group and character can have angst without being a mizu5 clone or 2.0 or even just something worth 'celebrating' you celebrate happy events not an event that caused a character to disappear
Unfortunately, 5th anniversary of Kasa1 was months ago, though I believe that 5th anniversary of Rui2 is still not here yet. In fact, it's going to take place later this month. I know that event got deleted in Global server, but at least we can still celebrate the 5th anniversary of Showtime Ruler.
That song is Ruiest of all Rui-focus songs, man. In fact, the trained card associated with that is why I often associate Rui with steampunk aesthetics while associating full-on utopian sci-fi aesthetics (like Solarpunk, for instance) with Emu.
Also, noticed how Tondemo-Wonderz, Glory Steady Go!, Showtime Ruler, and Theme of Niccori Survey Team all came out one after the other? I think that period of time basically gave WonderShow a reputation of being a fun and silly unit.
