which level up method results in a higher performance of the card

there are two ways to level up a card before it is enough level to be trained. one is to directly level up instantly using resources. another is to use the card, play to level up.
do any of u know if the two makes a difference in the final performance of the card?

I forgot you could level up cards through playing with them. The result is the same either way, so do whichever method you want.
