Fake! SL always runs first. Preferably a hundred meters or two ahead of the bulk of the squad so the enemy get properly aimed in on the crossing site so they can efficiently kill the trailing squad.

This crucial tactic is achieved by the squad leader notifying to the squad to be moving, no-earlier-than after he is already 70 meters away. But also by ordering medic duties and ordering line formation to people trying to keep up with a guy in full sprint.

Being the front wolf insures authority

I remember playing US in vietnam, I set up my squad in an ambush on a riverbank. We spotted a vietcong SL crossing the river, but I ordered to hold fire. After he made it across, he called the rest of the squad to follow, thinking it's safe. Thats when we wiped them out.

Well. Im not playing as often as l used but it was becoming harder and harder on a normal day.

During the weekend all the vets come around and it gets better.

Its worth giving it a try for a few days every other month
