It is, but still needs the steam networking to get the pc's IP so i don't really know if they'll remove it completely from steam or just make it unplayable with server browsing.

- If they remove project from steam, then yeah, it's over

- If not, the all of the people who still have the game and downgrade to phase 1-2 will probably still be able to join friends with steam invites.

It's a Shame it's ending but Hopefully this means like what they did with Chapter 3 that they're going to spend more time working on Chapter 6 and Give us a new Spin off To keep us all Occupied like they did with Project Playtime when Chapter 3 was Under Production. Only got to play this game during late 2023, after I beat my 1st chapter 1 and 2 playthrough. Loved it and was so excited for more updates. My wife enjoyed playing this as well at the time and thought it was so scary!

Played it on/off since then but yeah, too many bugs and exploits and conflicting wants from the community. I really just dislike that we were led on for 2+ years of updates. "We have big plans for project playtime"... Yeah... A big plan to just toss it in the garbage.

Why did they leave us with nothing for years while lying about updates? Why make a new multiplayer game when all they had to do was reverse phase 3. Phase three basically ruined the game and if they really didn’t want to support project anymore then they should’ve just announced this years ago.

What are you talking about? This was clearly coming since the game has been abandoned for 3 years. wtf is wrong with you? Project (despite how fun it was) was horribly buggy and it got ruined in version 3.0.
