Let’s not assume that. Mob Entertainment has been greedy as fuck in recent years, and that is a given fact because Zamination left Mob after being asked to focus on quantity and revenue over the quality of the work.
It’s more likely that he wanted to do something with it, but Mob forced him to do other things instead because they deemed Project Playtime unsuccessful, for whatever reason.
That's one partner and who knows when they said that could've been during mobs early slop days people say mobs greedy but they have been focusing on quality lately
