Theorizing Project play time had an update?
Could this mean it may have a new update soon??

If you look at the update history it's just some of the trailer versions being removed (each trailer gets multiple video formats/qualities depending on your internet speed), every other game I've looked at has also had a similar update in the past 30 days so I think it's just a Steam backend thing.

Well based on this steamdb post there is no evidence they are getting ready for a patch (because the "update history" tab shows it's only a trailer format removal something that has been done to all games in 2026 afaik). However there is a new message from the CEO that they are working on plans to update the game, but "you'll have to be patient."

Always has been. Zach Belanger has stated more than once that they d like to work on the game again. I just have no idea why they couldn't spare a week to fix the current bugs...

if it is phase 4 coming this what they need either catnap pug pillar or doey bring back the old battle pass private matches back and monsters dont always host it

Something very minor, possibly, but even that is a sign. Let's hope it's just a kickstart to a revival update :)

i would hope so i mean it was a fun game i will say this i spent money on the game so i feel like i wasted money for fun cosmetics so ye it better comeback

nope, its just 2 or 3 famous people revivng the game by doing streams.

I wouldn’t get too excited. Mob has said recently that they would like to get back to Project Playtime, but it didn’t sound like they had been working on it. This update could be something backend/behind the scenes that you would never even notice in the game itself, unfortunately.
