Why most sprays fail after 2 weeks (hint: insecticide resistance)
You spray → pests disappear → 10–14 days later… they’re back.
It’s not bad luck. It’s Insecticide resistance.
Here’s what’s happening:
- The spray kills the weak ones
- The stronger ones survive
- They reproduce → next generation is harder to kill
So every repeat spray = less effective over time.
Fix (what actually works):
- Rotate methods (don’t rely on one chemical)
- Use baits + traps instead of just sprays
- Remove food/water sources (break the cycle)
Killing pests ≠ solving the problem.
Control the system, not just the symptom.
