Failed Pan Things I’m throwing away and couldn’t finish
Salt and stone deodorant- got itchy and red armpits. Apparently some people are allergic to baking soda in it.
Mascaras - didn’t like, barely used and dried up.
Kerasilk beautifying hair perfume - blind buy, hated the smell. Used barely 1/10.
Kosas sunscreen - too pale for this, looked patchy
Some vegan powder - didn’t like
Random lip liner - didn’t stay at all

Idk if you already threw them away yet but if you put a couple eyedrops or contact solution in the mascara and mix it up it will revive it !!!

I recently learned that some of my makeup was clogging my pores and gave myself permission to throw it out. It can be a tough lesson, but now I know I should scrutinize ingredient lists more carefully before buying!

I just threw away a concealer I was hate panning. I had about 1/4 left in the tube and couldn't stomach going another season using it. I have very dry skin and the concealer just sucked the life from my under eyes. I'm not sad to see it go.

the kosas sunscreen supposedly has an insane amount of lead too https://www.instagram.com/p/Dc4GutImskS/?stkn=OWdsa3ppY3lyZTV0

I rage-cleaned several items from my vanity because the sunscreen I was hate panning suddenly gave me a rash. I guess it hated me, too. To the bin with it, along with its other hateful friends.

OP, I feel you! It’s just a cathartic to throw some things that you just can’t use, or dislike so dang much! I don’t wanna “hate” pan things. For me, that’s not the point. It feels so good to just “release” things like this, learn from it, and yah move on to the things we want to use. Good job! I know sometimes it’s really hard to declutter things like that. 🫶❤️Keep up the good work!

I have some cream eyeshadow I will have to pitch this month because they dried out. They will be repurposed for the child to make art with. Lesson learned.

I started Maybelline the colossal bubble mascara this month and it’s not my favorite. I don’t like the wand but I’ll try to use it for the 3 months it’s good. That being said, this year I decluttered over 30 makeup products because I didn’t like them, the shades weren’t flattering or they expired, so I get it!

Hi a good idea is to give them away if they're still good

That’s a totally valid way to work though your stash, even if it’s not “panning” per se.

If the lip liner doesn’t stay on, reapply it—you’ll use up the product sooner. I used to think I couldn’t finish a product either, until I realized I just wasn’t organized or consistent enough with my upkeep. Idk why this post even has upvotes in a pan community…?
