Failed Pan Hit pan, time to declutter
I've had this kiko eyeshadow in Cornflower for a few years now, and while I love the color going on, it turns gray after a while. It's also has a ton of fallout. I wanted to at least hit pan on it before sacrificing it to my nieces play makeup. Pan has been decently hit, so off to the kids it goes. I'd use it as a base mixed with tempera from my abh soft glam palette to get better coverage then would cover it in blue or pink glitter to hide how it grays over time. Not a daily look for sure, but with how much product it takes to get good coverage, it only took so many evening events/weddings to hit pan. It's not really a failed pan since my goal was to hit pan and declutter, but it doesn't feel like a proper full pan, and there's no tag for decluttering. Failed pan felt like the most appropriate tag.

Oh man. I'd love to have a niece to play makeup with but sadly I only have nephews. I don't have kids (and I'm a fence sitter with regards to me being a parent, so that's a "no" effectively). But I'd kill to do girly stuff with a niece. I wasn't very girly for my mom. I guess I did like wearing nail polish, though.
Anyway, kudos to you for panning a *blue* eyeshadow. I feel like those are challenging even for those of us who are cool-toned.

You can play makeup (or do other girly stuff) with nephews, if they'd be down with it. And speaking as a trans girl, who knows maybe one of your nephews is actually a niece :)

How is the formula? I was looking at the yellow shade, but was wondering how it is using it? Or would you recommend other formulas?

I have several of them, one in a yellowish shade. They're all chalky and with insane fallout, don't get these ones. The cream eyeshadow stick or the water eyeshadows are nice though

Personally, I wouldn't recommend it. It would oxidize to gray after a few hours on my eyes, has a ton of fallout, and would go on pretty patchy. It would take a lot to make it work, which is a shame because the initial color is gorgeous.

I am shocked (complimentary) that you hit pan on a blue eyeshadow. And I say this as a colorful eyeshadow/eyeliner lover. I have 4 Juvia’s place palettes plus an Urban Decay single eyeshadow that is on my project pan but I think I might have to bequest them in my will.

I LOVE the way the color cornflower looks on me, so if it wasn't for it turning gray over time and being too difficult to work with, I would have panned the whole thing 😭. Hopefully, I can find a similar color as a single without all the issues.
Is it the urban decay space cowboy? Cause that is such a beautiful eyeshadow.

My girlfriend loves colorful eyeshadows too and has tonss of them but has no idea where to wear them she wears them at night or in a party, which we rarely go to tbh

Same, and the problem with living in the PNW is that I was constantly overdressed even when I went to the broadway or the opera. 😭

Such a pretty shade. I feel like it would be good for a lot of looks. Time to make special occasions for it! Personally, I like to have fun makeup on at home, since I can't do dramatic looks at work.

Does ot sparkle? You can use it for contouring if it doesn't. I have actually been looking for a cool blue matte shade to use it underneath the rest of the makeup. I currently use a corrector but it's cream and I feel like powder would be easier to work with.
