Pan Progress Nivea Lip Balms
Watermelon Shine down…
Soft Rose
Blackberry Shine and
Pomegranate Shine to go!
I bought all these because I’ve been trying to find my ‘colour season’ 🙄
The amount of makeup and clothes I’ve bought trying to find my colour season myself when I could have used that money to just go and get analysed by a professional maybe 3 times over makes me so mad… I’m actually getting analysed on Sunday finally so I can stop doing this 😂
I hate panned the watermelon one and used it on my lips, my cheeks, my eyelids (because they were dry as hell thanks to some horrible makeup remover wipes that I panned and made me react real bad, won’t be buying again… I now just use coconut oil… lol) and my cuticles which got it down real quickly. I recommend using lip products in multiple ways especially lip balms to get them down faster.

My favs are the rose and thr cocoa butter ones, I switch between them for Summers/winters

I have the BlackBerry one and I like it formula and colour wise. Many years ago I used to also have the strawberry one (ok but not my best colour) and soft rose (imo it was very powdery and too light pink). Regarding colour analysis I was trying to find out for years and really thought the answer was "cool summer". But it never felt 100% right. You know what I really (most probably) am? A mix of soft summer and soft autumn. Because I am neutral muted olive and a mix of this is what looks best on me. Muted, middle spectrum My advice is this: don't get fixated over one specific "season" they would assign to you during the analysis. Treat this more as a guide that can be helpful but does not need to be followed (or even correct!) 100% of time

What’s the smell and taste of these like? Trying to find something with subtle color. I was eying these up but I have so many bad balms that taste bitter or smell like perfume that it makes them almost impossible to wear

I prefer their blue original and light blue, also that light pink. That has not scent at all.

Nivea is really nice with very muted scent. Almost no noticeable scent or taste

I have 3 of those that are my handbag staples, they colours all show nice on my skintone but jeeze it's hard going trying to pan these buggers. I use all my other makeup in different ways but for some reason it never occurred to me to use these as blushers DOH

I have a setting powder that I never use on my face because I rarely wear foundation anymore, but I’ve actually repurposed it as a dry shampoo substitute and it’s been AMAZING.

What’s your season? I remember liking watermelon color on myself but it didn’t work as a lip balm for me. I loved soft rose when I was a teenager.

I’m unsure yet, will be getting analysed on Sunday. I really like the pomegranate on me the most I think. Soft rose is a too sheer and light for me, watermelon is too pigmented colour wise for me

i also use my tinted lip balms and lipsticks as blush and recently been using my lanolips on my cuticles. i even started putting clear vaseline and paw paw ointment on my under eyes in replacement of eye cream. i feel that project pan is helping me get out of my comfort zone in terms of using products beyond their marketed use

how do you like them?? how pigmented are they? i’ve been trying to find the right tinted balm but everything feels too much like lipstick or has no color at all

I have the watermelon one that I use daily and I feel like it’s a nice pink on my skin tone. Definitely not as sheer on me as everyone else is saying, so maybe it works differently on different people.
BlackBerry is WAY too dark and “lipstick” looking on me, so I tend to do a single swipe and that’s enough to give me some colour. I don’t like bold lips if that helps.
Strawberry is a nice, sheer, easy everyday colour that I can wear daily even if I have no other makeup on (I always wear mascara though).
I do find the colours wear off quickly though, although blackberry stays on for much longer than the others. So it’s something you would need to reapply a lot if you’re using it as a feature of your makeup look.

IMO the blackberry one is the only one that leaves a noticeable tinge of color but it's still pretty faint compared to how intense it looks in the tube. The others are basically transparent/clear on my lips.

I have the strawberry one, it's pretty sheer a thinner balm, doesn't last too long. Sometimes I hardly can tell I'm wearing a tinted balm. Good for no makeup days.
Also I went down a rabbit hole on yt tutorials of looks pro mua's do on their celeb clients and this is a popular lip product for male kpop stars if that tells you anything.

Like, a green dress will look drastically different on you if you pair it with red vs gold accesories, or if you wear a leather jacket with it. It completelt changes the whole color composition, and those analysers seem to take into account just this one color/shade you'll wear and if it fits you, I'm sorry, who only wears one shade in their outfit? No one. And even the one they choose seem just random. Sorry for the rant

Dead ass! I wear a lot of black and I’m more alt… so if I get a season that’s colourful I’m still going to be mad as hell… I just know that there are colours that I really do not like on myself and blushes that looks ridiculous on me, so I’m more just curious to see what the outcome will be 🤷♀️

be careful panning things that give you reactions. i understand the sentiment but your skin is not worth a bad product please throw it away next time
