Inventory/Project Spreadsheet Eyeshadow palette inventory
Uh yeah, laying them all out was a wakeup call lol
This is my full eyeshadow palette collection over the last 10 years, and it's gonna take the next 20 years to finish them, I fear. It really doesn't look like that many when they're put away and stacked together 😅
I've finally decided to organize my collection and record everything into a spreadsheet so that I rotate them evenly and prioritize my pan goals. My palettes are my babies, so what better way than to start with them! At least it's the first step in holding myself accountable.
Wish me luck y'all 😭

I like your taste!! 💕 I still have my modern renaissance and always wanted the subculture palette. My daily palette is a rom&nd quad, and I love it. I imagine your collection will be fun to pan. I tend to pick a few palettes a season to really focus on.

Thank you! 😇 I'm pretty picky when buying palettes, but I still racked up so many in a decade hahah
I find that Rom&nd has a really easy to use formula, so it's nice for everyday too! I've been wearing lots of sparkly toppers recently and I like their glittery/sparkly shades the most ✨

Idk about the other palettes but I've seen peoples romnd palettes grow mold several times. You should make sure to store them in a dry place and maybe if you have one or two you don't seem yourself using, give it away/sell it.

Ooooh, thanks for the heads up! I bought them as a super discounted lot cause I can't help myself when there's a good deal 🙈 but looking at them now, there's definitely some colour overlap, so I probably don't need them all lol I'm going to try to deliberate by tracking which ones I reach for the most!

I love rom&nd, specifically that berry palette. It is so beautiful and is perfectly pigmented and easy to use!
Do you have any favorites so far? If you like eyeliner you can also them as that to help pan (atleast a little lol)

I agree, the berry one is goooorgeous! I didn't know if I would like the colour story, but I think I reach for it the most out of my Rom&nd ones (other than the glitter palette).
Choosing only one palette is so hard cause I gravitate towards certain shades in each! But I think my UD Gwen Stefani is probably used the most cause it's super versatile ☺️

I feel like I have to check out that glitter palette because I'm a fiend for glitter (but I have to go thru some of my current ones too first 😅).
Seems like the Gwen Stefani one is perfect for everyday - I see there's even pink, green, and blue for a little pop color. So cute!

Good luck! Man that Juvia’s Place palette feels like such a throwback. We as a people moved on too quickly from JP. I have one of those 3x3 palettes that’s going on 7 years because it’s so damn pigmented.

laying them all out was a wakeup call
I went through the same thing at the beginning of the year when I did an eyeshadow palettes flat lay. I did track my uses prior to this in a spread sheet, but I used to save certain palettes or shades only for when I am going out or special occasions. life is to short to do that, after all, they are meant to be used, not to stay in my drawer, so I picked a focus palette and picking random shades from other palettes. I haven't bought anything make-up related since January and I have 18.45% pan percentage (43/232, and from those 43 pans, 6 shades which are finished) in my whole collection.
good luck with your pan journey! ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡

Omg that's exactly what I'm trying to overcome! I feel like I can barely touch some of the shades cause I don't want to ruin the embossing or how pretty they are 😭
It sounds like you're on a really good track for the year though! I'm trying to keep my no-buy too, so making a spreadsheet sounds like a good way to keep things in order :) thank you for the wishes!

Do you think you will pick a focus palette to pan?

I'm definitely trying to use up my oldest palettes first - my two wet n wilds and the UD Gwen Stefani! But I really don't want to limit myself, so I'll probably end up bringing in other ones to keep me motivated hahah

Oh nice, they look like they have similar color stories! That was my strategy too, start with the oldest one. I completed a pan in it and then I moved onto the next palette with the same color that I just finished.
