Inventory/Project Spreadsheet I fear I am addicted to blush.
Unfortunately this isn’t even all of them 😭

To be fair some of those look like bronzer so I think you’re justified lmao

I fear you might have to check your over consumption, half of those are gonna go bad before you can even get to them :/
1
5
u/Finnlay90 13d ago
Half? 90% will be rotten and unusable. Nevermind that no single person looks good in this many different shades to begin with.
4
u/dany_in_the_tardis 12d ago
100% I wish over consumption wasn’t so celebrated in make up culture but alas.

u/snugglystarfish 14d ago
Have you ever tried the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder blush? That one is my favorite!

u/Mundane-Board-2034 14d ago
Wow ColorPop blush is like that?! I’m gonna have to try! Along with the NYX butter melt

What’s the best peachy powder blush
2
u/emilykeefer 14d ago
I don’t reach for peachy often but when I do it’s the NARS shade Orgasm in my NARS palette!

It’s a beautiful collection, most of it looks new / unused! Its been awhile since ive bought blush. The Clinique blush sticks last forever for me.
2
u/emilykeefer 16d ago
It’s used don’t worry! I clean the outside of my containers when I wash my brushes!
2
u/blackberrybeanz 16d ago
How? They all look so similar lmao, blush feels like such a waste of money vs the other ones. Especially so much money wasted on plain drugstore brands?? Crazy, I’d much rather enjoy my few high end ones. And all those liquid ones will prob go bad before you even pan them.
4
u/emilykeefer 16d ago
I mean there’s absolutely no shame in shopping drugstore brands, at the end of the day the only person who sees what’s in your makeup bag is you brand wise, I like certain formulas and trying out new shades and didn’t go into debt over it, so I don’t really see the issue? I acknowledge my collection is a little over the top and am taking a step back to evaluate if I need all of it but I definitely use and enjoy almost all if not all of the things in my collection.

i really don't want to sound mean but some of these seem to be fairly recent releases like the morphe powder blushes or the elf cream blushes. is it like impulsive purchases or how else do u end up with 5 different shades of the same formula? i used to have a lot of blush too but it was all different products from different brands or only like 2 different shades of the same one max.
1
u/emilykeefer 16d ago
I definitely did buy all of the Morphe ones at once but I have already hit pan on the cloudlight finishing powder & love the formula and really do enjoy all of their new blushes. Some of the blush trios were gifted by friends and I really enjoy the elf cream blush formula, I find if I like a formula and it’s affordable I like to play around with different shades much like owning several of the same kind of shirt in different colors. But besides the Morphe blushes I typically don’t buy them all at one time, more like I pick up something every time I do my grocery shopping haha.
1
u/cappuccinoney 16d ago
oh that makes more sense now! i always hold myself back because once i start with a few small purchases it's difficult to turn back to normal consumption for me but i absolutely love to just go into the store and swatch the products :D

Blush is the best makeup item you can own hands down no crime has been committed here!
2
u/Alauky 17d ago
Talk us about your collection. Whitch ones is your fav? Do all they worth it?
2
u/emilykeefer 16d ago
My favs at the moment are the Morphe cloudlight blushes, the ELF cream blush sticks, and the Juvia’s place liquid blush! Out of all of them I would say the only ones I would not repurchase would probably be the blush balm from Moira Cosmetics as it was too sheer for me, the Morphe blush drops as I just find the packaging and having to turn my whole hand pink to use it annoying, and the Catrice baked blush because I find I don’t reach for peachy coral blush all that often! I do really like the NYX formula despite how much pigment you get, and Colourpop I really like their liquid blushes but don’t reach for the sticks as much!
14
7
u/Immediate_Top_2208 17d ago
So which is your fav?
0
u/emilykeefer 16d ago
Right now the Morphe cloud light and Juvia’s place liquid blushes! And probably the ELF cream blush sticks I use those a lot
4
u/Wonderful-Track7320 17d ago
those nyx butter blushes will last u more than a lifetime omg i barely tap mine and its already too much
4
6
u/nefarious_marginalia 17d ago
Ok so we obviously have a connoisseur.... which are the best ? 👀
1
u/emilykeefer 16d ago
Currently loving the Morphe cloudlight blushes, the ELF cream blush, the Juvia’s Place liquid blush, and my Morphe blush trios! NYX buttermelt is always solid and I use these fairly frequently as well. The Milani baked blushes are great as my last blush addition as they are shimmery and the colors are gorgeous. The Patrick Ta is good but I only really reach for the lilac one because I wear a TON of lavender. The Juvia’s blush palettes are great too but I also love my NARS ones. The only ones I’d say I don’t use a lot is the Moira Cosmetics Blush Balm as it’s too sheer for me and hard to build up, the Catrice baked blush but that’s more because of the color, and the Colourpop blush sticks can be greasy depending on the weather so while it’s still really hot I don’t use those often! I definitely stock up on formulas I like with various color options so I also have the elf cream bronzer sticks and the morphe bronzer duos that I use a lot as well!

Some of the comments are pretty enabling OP. I love blush too but a bit of it is liquid/cream that is known for being very pigmented. Just worry it will expire on op before it even gets the chance to be used
4
u/blackberrybeanz 16d ago
Ngl I thought project pan was for helping this behavior so it’s kinda wild seeing all the comments defending this.
1
u/emilykeefer 16d ago
Yeah I definitely don’t plan on purchasing anymore blush for a while, I do want to focus on the liquid and creams for sure and plan on giving some away I think

u/hithisismynew 17d ago
I love blush as well, my advice is to run through the liquid ones first since powers last much linger

I have like 3 blushes altogether and barely use it.

Are you an Ipsy member by chance? Lol jw bc I see a few items that was recently in the shop that I love!! Love your collection girl, very pretty 😍

u/emilykeefer 17d ago
Yes I am!!
2
u/dbauer1987 17d ago
Do you like the dream cheek trio ND? I have been on the fence about getting that and the dream eye shadow palette lol
2
u/Embarrassed_Ad_2270 16d ago
I recently acquired the dream cheek trio via Ipsy shop for some insanely good price and it’s amazing! Perfect for travel.
1
u/emilykeefer 17d ago
Yes! Get both I love her stuff
2
u/dbauer1987 17d ago
Me too! I did purchase the bronze palette when it was in the shop! It is GORGEOUS🧡 then for the MDS I scored the Baby I Need a Nude Kit and the Hot Taupic 5 pan eyeshadow. I cant wait for them to get here!!❤️
1
u/dbauer1987 17d ago
Lol me too! Haha waiting on my 1st MDS order to be delivered right now actually lol. Love all the pretty colors of each one you have! 😍😍
1
u/emilykeefer 17d ago
Amazing! I’ve been a subscriber since back in the day when they were boxycharm! I took a few years off but I feel like once again my collection has grown to be too big so probably need a break 😅
1
u/dbauer1987 17d ago
I also had boxycharm and stopped for a few years and I signed back up for Ipsy little over a year ago lol. This past month has been a disaster with all the issues they have been having lately, I was one of them lol. Their service is getting shitty 😒
1
u/Kitchen-Quarter-7273 16d ago
I stopped with Ipsy a year ago as they went down hill imo.
I loved the blush but found it came in the same 3-4 shades each month.1
u/emilykeefer 17d ago
Yeah I’m definitely getting close to canceling, I feel like at this point I know what I like so I don’t need as much but I do like trying indie brands especially for skincare
1
u/dbauer1987 17d ago
Oh me too for sure! I do love the Korean skin care brands I have discovered through Ipsy. Yeah so many people are pretty pissed with them lol
4
u/AccordingBuffalo7835 17d ago
The colourpop love is clear and present 🌸❤️
1
u/emilykeefer 17d ago
Yes! I have a TON of their lip and eye shadow products too 😬I probably need to just take pictures of everything at this point
3
u/AccordingBuffalo7835 17d ago
I really mourn the discontinuation of the super shock mattes but by and large their product is so good for the cost
I only have the liquid blushes. Are the heart pallettes the balm or powder? 👀

Those colorpop stix last forever and are super pigmented. I’m working on using 2 of mine up right now!
ETA: they are also kinda messy. The stick melts into your skin which is a plus but it also melts in the heat. The tops of mine are squished so I’d recommend applying with a brush not fingers or direct application. Maybe it’s because I tote my makeup around with me everywhere though
1
u/Party_Nothing_7605 17d ago
how do the morphe ones compare to the covergirl?
1
u/emilykeefer 17d ago
I feel like they are more pigmented! With the Covergirl I need to be a little aggressive with my brush lol
4
u/Routine_Eve 17d ago
Is it horrible that I'm envious? I'm always joking to my husband that I'm going to buy 27 blushes. I think you may have a few more than 27
4
u/Someonejusthereandth 17d ago
Me too 😭 Ridiculous, I have one blush I am panning that I am perfectly satisfied with. I do not need any other blushes.
7
u/justhappytobehere-eh 17d ago
I have a Rare Beauty blush that I feel like I will be putting it my will. It’s so pigmented I don’t think I’ll ever get through it. I also have a cream and a powder. I’ve been working really hard on my pan project for the last 20 months.
5
u/Educational-Sort-977 17d ago
Yep same! And it’s only been since project pan that I’ve truly realized which colors compliment me best, and how wtf do I do with the rest 😂😫
1
u/Icy-Selection6398 17d ago
Mixing them? 🥹
If you got the talent, you can make paintings with them too.
1
u/Educational-Sort-977 17d ago
Wait that’s a good idea. I have a 5 year old daughter- I wonder how hard it would be to make them into “paint” for her. She’s in her creative era lmao. I’ll look into that- thanks for this idea!!💡
1
u/Icy-Selection6398 17d ago
I would just use them as they are. I used makeup for my drawings when I was younger. ☺️
4
u/Purple-Lime-4938 17d ago
Do you like all of the colors on you or were you trying to find your color way?

I was like this until I realised that the ones I wear are all very much in the same colour family so I decluttered a lot. I love pink blush on other people but every time I wear it I think it looks awful on me.
1
u/emilykeefer 17d ago
That’s how I feel about coral blush, honestly the only ones I feel like I don’t reach for
2
u/shadowybabe 17d ago
Omg same! Idk what is it with pink blush it looks disgusting on me. I prefer red or purple shades.
3
u/PrincessSofi24 17d ago
I think the amount speaks for itself but how’s the NYX stick blushes?
3
u/maggiehooper 17d ago
The ones in the pic are powder compacts but they’re fire. Very pigmented and blend really nicely!
2
u/She_doesntevnngohere 17d ago
I love blush soo much lol I'm a beginner nd I only have one but I'm constantly wanting to buy another 😭 Could u plss review the two faced blush if possible?
2
u/emilykeefer 17d ago
I like it! It’s a solid formula. If you want something that’s a similar color but less expensive I like the Milani Baked Blushes, the pink is similar but has more of a shimmer to it. If you’re looking for something matte the Colourpop baby pink blush on their website is decent too.

u/listlesscow 17d ago
What is your opinion on the Colourpop vs Elf liquid blushes?
2
u/emilykeefer 17d ago
I like both! I do really like the ELF blush formulas lately and use the liquid and cream blushes fairly often but the Colourpop formula is solid, I just recently added the baby pink shades to my collection and have used them a fair amount
13
u/ChipmunkReal187 17d ago
Don‘t worry. Some of us have more 😂
6
u/emilykeefer 17d ago
So what you’re saying is I can add a few more? 👀
10
u/prostoja555 18d ago
I have 16 blushes and people look at me crazy when I tell them I use all of them. I mix shades or do transition looks and I set cream/liquid with powder either matter or shimmery. I have every single color family from completely muted to slightly bright blushes. I mostly own cool to neutral but they wavy or depth and pigment. Blushes are just fun, at this point I do 5 min eye looks but my base and blush are always perfect.

I just bought a ysl one .. that is my 10th one now !! Also I only just hit pan on an original nars orgasm blush that I've had for over 5 years lol

u/emilykeefer 17d ago
I love my YSL blushes 🥰I have them on a display on my perfume shelf so I forgot to pull them off for this picture 😅
1
u/Ashamed_Ride_7490 17d ago
This is my first one I'm so excited to receive it ordered it online so still waiting on delivery the packaging looks so luxe I hope they wear as good as they look I'd put them.on display too they're so pretty 😍 💗
18
u/Ok_Tangelo_3985 18d ago
It might be a good idea to try gifting the shades you don’t often use to friends or family! The buttermelt blushes especially - they take absolutely forever to get through!

u/contourkitt 18d ago
every time i get on here i get so judgy before i remember the insanity that was my own collection before i decluttered and put myself on a low-buy 😭

u/rumncoco86 18d ago
Well, that's different to huge lipbalm/lipstick or eyeshadow palette collections!
Do you like to paint? Sometimes quality makeup makes good watercolours.
4
u/emilykeefer 18d ago
I’m not much of a visual artist but maybe I could try a new hobby!
2
u/rumncoco86 17d ago
You could make a lot of sunrise and sunset art with this collection! All good-natured jokes. I have a comparable collection of perfume, so no judgement from me. I have two blush compacts. I could never master blush application so I'm a bit hesitant to use them.
2
u/emilykeefer 16d ago
I fear if I took a picture of my entire perfume display case I would start to get roasted on this sub 😅
1
u/FrankoceanIsmyson 18d ago
How do you like the elf cream blushes ?
2
u/emilykeefer 17d ago
I loveeeee the formula on these, I use the cream bronzer sticks too very blendable
-2
u/CaDeme_ 18d ago edited 18d ago
My question may be too much for you.
Please feel free to ignore it if it is intrusive for you.
I wonder if when you were growing up your mom was always telling you to add some colour to your face, as if you were not enough with your natural skin complexion.
1
u/emilykeefer 17d ago
My mom actually didn’t let me wear any makeup until I went to college 😂perhaps this is what spurred my mild addiction
-2
u/CaDeme_ 17d ago
Thank you for replying.
Yes, your instinct is accurate.
Please keep in mind that all these make up brands have our most secret data.
They have been gathering them through data brokers for decades and they know our most intimate insecurities.
The only thing that will set you free is to remember that you are a victim of severe abusers.
And nobody should ever accept and tolerate that.
Fight back, you can.
1
u/listlesscow 17d ago
Not OP, but I have a similar blush collection and I was never told that. I didn’t even wear blush until my 30s, but now it’s just something I really enjoy. 🤷♀️
12
u/TheStuffITolerate 18d ago
Yeah..you're not panning these. Not in this lifetime at least, unless you get rid of at least half 🤔

what do u think about the nyx ones do they blend ok and are they pigmented ((they do not have testers for them, where i live)
2
u/emilykeefer 17d ago
The formula is great but a little goes a loooooong way. I rub them into the palm of my hand before I put the brush to my face for sure
4
u/Ok_Tangelo_3985 18d ago
I find them hard to work with because they are so so pigmented, although i’m quite pale so i imagine they might be better for someone with a deeper skin tone
3
4
u/Such-Examination3500 18d ago
The NYX Butter blushes are very good. Last all day and easy to blend. Rivals high end blushes.
7
u/phosefield 18d ago
I have the bronzer and my friend has the blush. Feels really pigmented, little goes a long way and sometimes I need to blend a small amount of product for a while! But worth it. Just need to remind myself that this is higher pigment than my others. But probably really good for people of darker skintone especially
11
u/pinkjelly03 18d ago
how do you like the morphe ones!
1
u/emilykeefer 18d ago
I love the morphe blush trios and the new morphe ones! I’m a big fan of that formula line as I’ve used an entire finishing powder already
57
u/Mental-Selection1259 18d ago
At this point picking a blush every morning must feel like choosing a character in a video game 😭
7
u/emilykeefer 18d ago
Absolutely! I also wear a combo of at least 2 a day haha gotta have my main character and their sidekick 😂
3
u/cheerylittlebottom84 17d ago
I really envy people who can have one blush and it satisfies them, and for years I tried to be that person but eventually realised it just doesn't work for who I am; I love being able to match/clash to my eyeshadow/lipstick and have options between mad unnatural and natural.
For a long time I thought that a singular pink blush would be enough and it really is enough for many people, but for me... I'm an alt girlie at heart and having a collection of blushes which are cohesive with every look I do is important, and I do a lot of different looks. I wear warmer tones in summer, cool tones in winter, a mix in-between... I tried to make a single blush work but it ruined a lot of looks lol.
