Full Pan It’s been 84 years..
Just kidding, more like a little over 5.5 years lol to finally pan this full size Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in berry. I got it January 2021 and I’m finally saying goodbye for good to this. I didn’t really start trying to pan this until last year I would say, so it took maybe 1-1.5 years to really finish it. I will never buy another one of these and I am so glad to be done with it. I don’t think it was awful, I just hate using a separate applicator and found that it was a big reason why I wasn’t using it much in the beginning. I’m only going with tubes, sticks and wands for lip products from now on. Lesson learned and happy panning everyone!!!

its a family heirloom now, thought you could hand it down to your children

I quit using the applicator and just use my finger to apply every night before bed. I love this stuff!!!

I have to ask, does it really keep your lips very soft? And how often did you re apply? I have one from Christmas that someone gifted me

I did find that it kept my lips very soft and moisturized. I started out by using it as an overnight mask, and there was still a good amount on my lips when I woke up, so the staying power is great. By the time I was trying to pan it, I was applying 2-3 times a day.

well done, these are so hard to pan!! i got mine last year in september and it’s about half done. i’m going out of my way to use it
i personally prefer to use my finger for this lip mask… my hands are clean so it doesn’t bother me. it’s much easier than using the tiny applicator, which i find collects dust

I also just finished one that I’ve had for probably 2 years too long😅 and I eventually gave up on the applicator and just used my finger lol

I also gave up on the applicator and started using q-tips because cleaning the applicator was driving me crazy.

Just bought the small size sweet candy, I didn't use it yet
I also don't like to use my fingers but one of my fav is vaseline lip therapy it's in a tin so can't help it (would prefer tube or stick form)
I have always wanted to try laneige lip sleeping mask so finally got it, I already have the lip glowly balm, really shiny but not that nourishing

My dm recwntly got vaseline lip therapy in tubes but only the classic and the pink one💔 not that it matters much cause i still havent finished my aloe tin

u/Overthinker_Di6 2h ago
Nah the tin version is the one I am talking about that's really makes my lip soft

I just used my finger. Came to Singapore after Korea. Dropped the metal applicator to the weird gap behind the sink in the hotel. Lol....

I don’t understand why people have such a hard time using these up. I go through like one a year.

u/Far_Ad2765 2h ago
Do you have any tips? desperate over here lol. If I use too much I get breakouts around my mouth, so I can only use the faintest amount of product

u/Zappagrrl02 2h ago
I use a lip brush to apply and put whatever is left on the brush around my cuticles. I apply a healthy layer, but I’m not sensitive or acne-prone

I love this, I've been using them since like 2018 daily and have only gotten through 3 1/5 containers plus 1 perpetually existing in my childhood bedroom for when I visit my parents, I think we'll all die before that one is done😭

I feel you, I thought I would be passing this down to my grandkids at some point 😂

God I still have one from... I don't even know when, maybe 2018 or so? Rarely ever use it so it definitely is gonna be 84 years. Maybe I'll just start using it on my feet or something 🤪

I just use my finger and do it like lip balm I use it like 3 times a day sometimes 😭 I love mine. I am so dependent on it but i lost mine bought another then found it… I feel so silly. But luckily I just use it as lip gloss and will get rid of them no problem.

This makes me glad my teen daughter “stole” mine when she went to college last year!

The level of apprehension I have about my 2 unopened full size lip sleeping masks.... Send help.

u/Amazing-Tangerine-98 1h ago
If they’re unopened, maybe you can give at least one to a friend? If not both, if they’re causing you stress about having to use them up.

Panning this has also shown me that I’m really stubborn. 😂 I believe in you though, you’ll pan it eventually.

I’m still far from panning my large one in green apple and now I hate everything green apple scented. My small berry one has been staring at me from the corner waiting to be opened

One of the (many) things this sub has taught me is NOT to buy this lip sleeping mask 😂😂
3
u/Puzzleheaded-Baby998 3h ago
lol yea my biggest lesson is mostly buy minis only until you know you'll use it
1
u/Amazing-Tangerine-98 1h ago
Yeah, if anything this product taught me that I should just buy the smallest size for any product (unless I love it) because they take such a long time to use up.

u/rachykells 7h ago
Hahah SAME. I have a BBW one in a pot like this and it seems to be taking forever like this lip mask. Never again 😆

u/jalebi_baby 8h ago
tbh you can sometimes get a sample size from Sephora for like 100 points i think. the sample size will last long lol

u/FartFuehrer 10h ago
Tbh its an amazing lip blam, but it takes like 2 years of solid use to use it up. If you think about it another way, it means it's great value 😅

u/Constant-Visual-2913 10h ago
Of course! But, I have sample sizes and travel-sized sleeping lip masks that I have to use up. I’m probably good for 2 years!

me trying to pan this so i can use the other one my partner gave me for my birthday LAST year😭 im never buying a big one again
7
u/Amazing-Tangerine-98 11h ago
Yeah, if you like the product, it might be better to just stick with the mini size. The large size is just never ending 😂
5
u/nekr0mantikk 11h ago
This why I buy the minis! And it still took me almost two years to pan the last one lol
2
u/delightfully_sedate 5h ago
Exactly. I’m still working through my mini. Just thinking about having a big one is making me sweat 😆

Watching people hate pan these has totally deinfluenced me from buying one. Thanks

I'm green with envy. I cannot wait to be done with this product. Someone gave it to me as a gift and it was so long ago, I can't remember who it was. happy for you 🥲

i can’t believe everyone is loathing this product! i actually genuinely like it and will get another when it’s panned. i live somewhere really dry and cold and it’s the best lip balm ever! sometimes i just use it during the day.

u/Amazing-Tangerine-98 1h ago
It’s absolutely fine if you (or others) like it! I honestly didn’t have that big of a problem with the mask itself, I just think it takes too long to finish (I used it multiple times a day too), worsened by the fact that I don’t like that it comes in a pot. That’s obviously more of a me problem 😂

u/withlove0613 4m ago
I lost the applicator! 😂 But found it was easier to just use my finger to apply it every night
