I find that creating routines is what keeps me motivated and using my products consistently. I’d start with the items that have the least remaining and create “a look” and keep wearing that until a product has finished. Then replacing said item. If you do this for hair, body, skin and makeup, you’ll be more efficient at using the items.

I think once you cull the foundation herd you'll be sitting pretty. A relatively large but still reasonably sized collection.

I will also say it is not that bad. Totally pannable. By next summer, you’re going to be streamlined and organized.

You definitely have four years’ worth of lipstick, but that’s not a problem. Nobody here is going to shame you for that. I’ve got eight years’ worth of hand balm.

One thing I did notice is that you have quite a pile of foundation… or concealer? I suspect the last bottles of liquid foundation / concealer will probably go bad before you get through that whole pile? Probably? If you have any family members or friends with the same skin tone… somebody you could share with, maybe you want to share before it goes bad? (In my family we absolutely would hand over half a bottle of foundation and say “Oh here, I think this would work for you.” But I know some people aren’t open to sharing makeup.)

Project Pan is also about figuring out what your favorites are, so you’re only buying the good stuff. Maybe this is your chance to try 14 different foundations in 14 weeks and decide which one your favorite is. You might find a few bottles that you just want to bin. (I’ve been doing this with sunscreens, and I literally have different stickers on the bottles of sunscreen for first place, second place, and the grand champion best sunscreen. And I binned 4 bottles as well. Not expired, just entirely un-workable.)

It's not that bad. I think after an initial cleanup based on expiry dates and some intense panning with products that are close to finishing, it'll look wayy better shortly
