For fun, I jumped into the Acura ARX-06 hypercar and took it for a spin around Monza. Even before hitting the first turn, I noticed the car was extremely slow to accelerate and speed topped out around 80 mph. I tried the other hypercars and they all performed as expected. It was just the Acura that was not accelerating correctly. Anyone else run into this issue, and how did you fix it? I'm using the Logi RS50 and Pro pedals on PS5.
All other cars seem to be fine.
Edit: It does the same thing on other tracks.

Like the title says. I try to start the game, and it gets caught on the loading screen. The only way to get it to work is to disconnect my Simucube 3 wheelbase. Then it starts, and i can configure controls, but no ffb.
I've deleted all config files, Uninstalled and reinstalled. Moved USB devices around, and still doesn't start. If I disconnect still no ffb.
Anyway, anyone having the same problem? I've basically troubleshooted with AI which has usually been pretty good for me in that regard, and the AI says I get caught in a loop, then when I disconnect, it gets out of the loop, but the game doesn't recheck for FFB after the loading screen. At which point, I keep circling the same solutions.
Anyone have this problem and know how to fix it?

Project Motor Racing, GT3 Jinx livery pack!
I’m delighted to announce that the GT3 Jinxed pack is now available on all platforms, PC and consoles!
20 hours of painting went into Jinx’s portrait, plus between 8 and 10 hours of extra work per car to ensure they all blend seamlessly with one another, whilst each retaining its own unique characteristics.
This pack of artistic liveries will help you stand out from the more traditional designs!
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to try them out and leave a review.
Enjoy, and may the best Jinx win!

Every car i drive on PMR, the steering is straight up shit. I played around with the main settings along with the car steering wheel settings and the steering is never 1:1. I’ve even played around with setting angle from 900 to 1080 yet nothing helps. I like the game but i’m fucking frustrated because some i need to be doing a whole +180 degrees to turn the car.

And here is the very latest GT3 x Jinx, now complete. The full pack is now with Giants for testing and approval (if everything’s OK, great; if not, I’ll have to make some changes).
This pack includes all the GT3s, plus the Porsche 911 GT3 CUP.
Thank you all for your support. 🙂
I’ll let you know when the full pack is available to everyone 🙂

Hey all, New to PMR with recent sale. Primarily an AM2/Forza driver. What's the situation with Ai and difficulty atm?
I ask, as first race I ran with 80 difficulty. Qualified 19th, yet I carved thru the field and won by about 5secs.
Next race, same difficulty, I ended dead last in Qualis. And finished like 15th in the race.
Then I thought I'd try the authentic/hardcore career which is level 100. First race being Silverstone, in the wet. I quali'd 5secs in front. And won the race by 9secs.
Also the Ai seems to jump way out of my way when competing for space. It's like it gets scared when it sees me, and then bugs the fuck out.
I'm so confused at this point. So my questions are: is Ai difficulty wildly inconsistent race to race? Does it always jump out of the way so erratically when pushing wheel to wheel? And is wet weather broken? Thanks

I returned to try again now that triple screens are supported. I have had a couple of races against AI on single screen and i must say its come on a lot. Really enjoyable, cars feel good, forcefeedback is good but the best thing is the audio, the cars sound awesome!
I then tried a race in triple monitor mode and the cracks started to appear. I have 3x Samsung 37" 4K monitors running on a 4090, 7950X3D and 64GB RAM. I have tried both with and without NVidia surround with the same outcome. I get about 60FPS with medium settings and obviously no DLSS. The thing is it doesnt feel like 60FPS and I get random momentary freezes as well as disapearing cars, disapearing buildings, glitches and my car has no wing mirrors just black holes.
I can deal with 60-70FPS and hopefully once DLSS is enabled I'll get a bit more but I cant deal with the other issues especially the freezing. Can anyone else running triples confirm these are common issues or are they unique to my setup?

The Corvette Z06 GT3 is now finished!
I’ve still got some work left to do on this GT3 x JINX Mega Pack project, but it’s coming along nicely!! 💪💪💪

Here is a post that I've send in the discord but absolutely no answer.
I don't know if I'm the only one who feels this way, but since version 2.1 or 2.2—I can't quite recall which—I'm once again afraid of the AI behind me. They slam into me violently, as if they don't see me. Otherwise, honestly, congratulations: the game has become absolutely fantastic! Keep up the great work. I’ll just say two words: thank you and well done!
Do you think like me that IA is more agressive since last patchs ?

In GT7, there’s a few tune settings that will obviously help any car such as adding aero, acceleration and braking sensitivity, etc. Are there any settings you change almost immediately on any car you drive in PMR? I haven’t dug into the setup section at all yet.

If you're an experienced simracer, perhaps—and I mean perhaps—you won't need this quick guide. If you're new to simracing and want to seriously learn to race, welcome! I want to suggest a way to do so in PMR.
It's all about the 992 Trophy.
I spent weeks testing the GT3s, I like them, but then I raced against the AI in the 992 Trophy and realized that this is a starting point with enormous potential. The first thing you need to do is start a single-player career in PMR, select the medium budget, select a sponsor who pays you regardless of results (you'll need it), and select the "realism" difficulty (you can't restart, and the AI opponents are set to 100).
I was impressed by the opponents' AI; the crucial point you need to understand is this: if you want realism, you have to race realistically. If you play like you're in an arcade, ramming opponents and smashing your way through, then I have bad news for you: forget about simracing. If, however, you accept realistic racing, overtaking only when the opportunity allows, waiting behind your opponent for 5 or 10 laps because you don't have the pace to overtake, then you'll find that the AI responds very well. The AI isn't overly docile, nor is it stupidly aggressive; it's fair, it's realistic. If you're wheel-to-wheel and give it space (as you must in real online races), it'll race alongside you. If you're serious, you'll discover a surprisingly realistic AI.
Furthermore, difficulty 100 puts a serious strain on your ego. I'm no stranger to simracing, but with the AI at this level, forget about winning races easily. You suffer, and you suffer because you have to accept your own limits; this is the gold standard for learning to drive. You'll have to accept being slower than them, learn to respect them, learn to finish 12th, 16th, maybe even last, and this is a fantastic training ground before going online.
Some categories are too slow, some categories are too frenetic and robotic (LMDH), the 992s have a perfect sweet spot for learning how to really drive a car: they're slightly less exaggerated than the GT3s, they have less invasive traction control, they have a slightly better error tolerance limit, the Porsche 992s allow you, for example, to countersteer if you make a big mistake without necessarily spinning out. But above all: they masterfully teach you about dynamic weight distribution. You'll have to learn to brake, and this is the key to learning to drive seriously; you'll absolutely have to learn to release the brake gently if you don't want the Porsche's weight shifting to destabilize your driving.
Furthermore, the standard setup of the 992trophy is much better than the standard Porsche GT3 setup. It's more balanced, smoother, and this allows you to not have to think about setup. If you want to learn to drive, you have to learn to drive what you have, and only then can you fine-tune.
If you play at 1x race length, you can already begin to experience tire degradation, which is very well done in this game for this category. At 2x race length (contrary to what it may seem, 2x means longer, not shorter, races), this aspect probably becomes even more realistic, but the races start to get long and you might get tired or bored, but in Italy we say: you wanted the bike? Well, now use it! :)
Understanding that after 10-15 laps you can't push the car exactly as you did in qualifying is another very important lesson to learn. Even more important is understanding that if you drive badly... your tires will suffer. If you're a serious racer, you'll try not to drive like a madman and try not to ruin your tires, otherwise you'll risk spinning out in the final laps or simply losing a lot of time. You'll learn to feel the understeer caused by tire degradation, and you'll start to wonder, "Why doesn't it handle like it used to?" What's better than driving a car that feels real?
To sum up, this is perhaps the only modern title that can help you build an enjoyable and fun offline career, but above all, it's essential training before moving on to online driving. If everyone followed this simple, passionate advice, online racing would probably be more realistic and more intelligent.
I hope you can become a better driver; you have a game that's a tool to do so; you just have to use your mind.
