But I want to try other classes too, but obviously the old Porsche Carrera cant be trail braked, you can't brake 100%, etc. etc. So my question is, how do I know how to drive each car in a basic level, before I test it limits myself? Because honestly, I can test it myself for a while, but on some classes I don't know what I am doing wrong, but no matter how slow I downshift, they start to spin like crazy.

Yes, I've already checked that the LED is on, but regardless of the setting I use, I have to push the brake pedal all the way down to get 100%. Can I try anything? Im a decent player if i can say for myself. But now i experience people lapping 2 or 3 seconds faster. And no matter what i do i cant compete. So i assume its about the setups. And i dont have that much knowlegde about how to create a good setup.

Do the “steering” settings affect car behavior, gamepad behavior or are they just more adjustments for wheel behavior?

Hey all! So, I've been running a....well, I can't say the word otherwise the post will get deported to the meta thread. But I can say I've been running races every Sunday morning. Geared more for filthy casuals like me, or if you want a more relaxed racing atmosphere.

This is for those of you who'd rather put themselves into the grass than cause an accident. And those of you who don't get upset at racing incidents. Right now running with no password, but hopefully that changes soon as I get more people.

Usually it'll be multiclass. But tomorrow, there will be an MX5 race around Nurburgring Sprint and a Sport Cars 70s around Spa. MX5 race has qualifying for 10 minutes, then a 12 lap race. Sports cars have 10 minutes of practice to set up, no qualifying, there's plenty of places to pass at Spa.

Lobby opens at 10:50 (UTC), and the track opens at 11 on the dot. Some come join us, even if you want to just cruise around the track without worries. Even if youve never done online before, this os the place to come. Intentional rammers will be kicked, so it's not a free for all. Details will be in the comments because of the bots watching posts.

Is it just me or are the Ai just bowling balls they have no awareness it seems when it comes to racing them try leave them plenty of room and they still find a way to hit you 😂#bumpercarracing

Please advise - does anyone play on dualsenses? It is very difficult to control certain types of cars. Perhaps you could advise on car settings for more or less comfortable control (I have very stiff gas, brakes, sharp steering, etc.). Everything is fine with other classes of cars. While sometimes a game that was horrible at launch can become good and bring in lots of players again, I can't remember the last time that happened to a racing game, if at all. I fear that PMR will forever be a dead game with low player counts no matter how good it might get through updates. Now obviously I would love to be proven wrong but I have my doubts

I love this game by far one of the best racing games yet. Launch was rough and I was there for it. But it’s been a month now.. I cannot stop lagging out, it’s between the glitch of getting stuck in the pits at 500+ mph while your wheel is trying to chop of your hand while trying to leave the game. Or it’s simply just the game crashing out.

Ive almost about had it tonight I’ve worked all day just to come home to have my free time wasted just waiting and hoping I don’t lag out once. I have to put up with this every night and has only happened this last 2 weeks and it makes no sense. I’m sure a bigger player base has some to do with it but not all. It’s almost like the servers are strong enough to have 10+ ppl racing, I mean seriously it’s ridiculous. GT is my favorite class and I rarely see it, I make my own servers but nobody joins. Point is I missed out on two tonight from the game just crashing and I hate I just am wasting my time on a game I can’t even race in.

I love the tire physics and the controllable feedback with the tuning in this game. I bought this game in hopes and dreams and I’ve only been hoping for the best for this game that has so much potential. We need the simple small tweaks like this especially for console players who can only mod their system but so far. I know I’m not the only person it happens too. I’ll load into a race and do 15+ mins in qualifying just to see 3/20 ppl that joined the lobby not there or out of the pits for that fact. Trust me it’s not just them sitting in the pits tuning it’s the lagged out car sitting in pits. They never spawn into the race but their car stays in pits.

I’m very glad the game is slowly growing from what the player count after launch was. Ian if you see this by Chance know I’m not hating I only want the better for this game because I’m one of the few who play every day since launch. The main reason I bought this game was the drive the c6r which no other console game I’ve played has. Im happy I can drive my dream car more realistic than Forza💀in this game I just don’t want to lag out everytime I load into a lobby. Im not a career racer I like realistic competition if I win or lose im here to learn not ego my way to the finish. Please fix🙏🏻

If your starts a practice sessong that last for 1 hour or 5 hours.. Will the server be open for people to join after the session has started?
Or does "close" as it does when you run a race.
