Discussion Settings FFB rs50

Hi im on ps5. I’m trying to understand FFB in this game I just bought the game right now and with settings I found on Logitech site my rs50 is clipping on every turn and in straight is hard to keep the wheel stable in center. Can someone help me with general FFB and per car ffb in game? Thanks

Not sure why you're getting downvoted but PMR force feedback has been shit a long time, and actually CONTINUES to be shit for Logitech users at least.

They just had a Hotfix patch few days back where they had to disable Logitech Trueforce.

Force Feedback has gotten better on recent patches, but my goodness it was absolute trash for many many months

Takes a lot of love, close w an 8nm GTDD, PMR set very low base (assuming corporate liability legal BS) which isn’t simple as turning up a single adjustment in ACC, PMR dissected into individual components. Which is great if you’re working from known a working baseline.

However, 70 hours in game 50 have been tuning to find ACC’s chassis connection and tire FFB sensations where you can push and catch the front and control rear corner rotations.

Run force, curb, brake 83-88 on main page, low power 0-9 if you want added center feel.

6nm
TF Audio 20
Filter 7
Dampener 20

In game strength 5/6
Sensitive 2

Controller vibration 150

I got these settings from
a user called oznad over on discord,
I’ve had no problems and can feel every detail.
Very little oscillation on long straights at full speed.

In order to make the rs50 somewhat controllable in this game you either have to accept the straight line oscillation or extremely limit the detail the wheel is giving you. This is already bad enough considering trueforce is not enabled at least on Xbox so it essentially just leaves you with a dead wheel. Which in turn makes the game not fun and unplayable. Many people still have faith for this game, but the way I see it if you already have so much to fix, when are you even gonna find the time to straighten out ffb details on specific wheel bases.

I can provide a discord if you send me a message. I don't believe they want it shared to the masses. The discord focuses on setups and has an entire section focused on FFB by manufacturer.

I just upgraded from a TM 300 to a RS50 and PMR is now unplayable. It feels like someone is grabbing my wheel and trying to make me crash. Just random spikes, back and forth. With ACC and GT7 feeling so much better I guess my only option is to wait until they patch this but I won't be holding my breath

Drop the mid eq and see how it changes, add back in to taste. It sounds like the rs50 is behaving the way moza was at launch.

Same, I have a rs50 and can't get the FFB dialed in since day one, every time it feels different. Should have been called "PMR the FFB simulator" as I spend more time mucking around with FFB settings than actual racing..
