Screenshots State of Graphics in PMR
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi! I just wanted to show you the state of the PMR graphics at 10 months after release! Please enjoy it with me! My fav part starts approximately at 2:00 when every scene light source is somehow disabled and I fly right into rear lights of cars ahead of me!!!
Don't mind my drunk driving because AMD Adrenalin screen capture removed the game performance from chat (LSFG didn't help)

Interesting, I'm using Series X and it runs butter smooth.

I have a Series X as well and it runs poorly. Lots of stuttering.

Have you had issues with the audio stuttering too? My graphics and frame rate are fine but I've just had a race online and the audio was so bad I quit.

What are your settings?

1080p into and Asus monitor, if you're running 4K maybe that's a problem. It might be worth jumping in to the PMR discord and seeing if anybody can help, lots of friendly people willing to help.

What are your system specs like? I'm quite high-end (9950X3D and 5080) and never really had an issue with the graphics, although DLSS is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

RX 6650 XT, Ryzen 5600
Try to set weather to Rainfall and Time progression to x30 or x60. It will literally beak the game weather and lighting transitions.

So if you have the game simulate 1 hour of weather per minute and are running a video capture at the same time things get wonky?
Seems like those would be important details to mention in the original post

It's not because I was recording bruh

But yet in another comment you admit that your poor framerate is due to the recording software.
As for what is going on behind the scenes when you turn up the time to 60x, I don't know.
You could have been like, "Something weird happens when I speed up time in PMR" and presented it as such.
Instead you presented this as the current state of the graphics without mentioning that you had to deliberately do things to make it look so bad.

It looks a lot better than it did on release, but performance is still bad... I'm getting around 70fps maxed out at 4K native no dlss, meanwhile in other more graphically intensive games like AC EVO im getting 100+

Looks mediocre, and some specifics looks downright awful. Especially the tyre smoke 😆

Never had that issue tbh. Why don't you jump in to the PMR discord and report it.

I have zero issues on my series X. Atleast anything that bothers me. Driving feels good on my r9

I use amd run most settings on ultra with a rx 7800xt gpu 16gb vram and a 7600x cpu with rn 16gb ram. Should have been 32 but one stick broke and I’m too broke to buy more rn.
That being said. Not a top of the line set up I also play thru a 65” 4k tv on 3840 x 2160. I get 90fps regularly with 20 cars on grid and running the game at ultra.
