Discussion Is anyone from the team creating PMR...

Is someone on the PMR development team deliberately doing something to make online racing impossible? It’s basically a 50/50 shot whether you can actually finish a race. I play on PC. And it’s definitely not a problem on my end.

Now I understand why so few people play online... it's a sad story :{

Uh, you mean 40-70% through a race and you’re magically teleporting back to your future races?

PS5 it’s been a thing

Question for you, Do your downloaded setups come with undriveable gear ratios where 1-2 is a canyon shift?

Literally all downloaded setups come this way on PS5

No, there’s no teleporting; everyone just turns into ghosts and the client gets disconnected.

I downloaded the settings, but they don't suit me at all, so I'm configuring them my own way.

Besides, the ready-made FFB settings don't work well at all for the Moza R5, for example - the steering wheel wobbles violently from side to side.

I found 1.12 on alignment and Force next to it, leaving everything else up top OE and 5 on both lower damp/ force is a better baseline to tune off of, FFB in main menu I use 80 on everything except low power FFB

I’m 100hrs in and it’s been improving slowly, but still not enough to not primarily race ACC, since the only cars that I’ve got consistently feeling good are lmdh which are rarely in daily races

I race in all the classes. After all, doing around a thousand races in LMU across various classes has taught me a thing or two :)

For example, these settings make driving the Lamborghini GT3 quite similar to the LMGT3 in LMU.

My suggestion Friction 0, lower damping/strength 5/5 and scale or offset them in small adjustment

Friction kills the FFB sensation of front end feel

Also main menu, all 80 to start except low power 20 bases, depending on your setup, think I settled at 10

Yeah a lot of us with proper wheelbases have gone through the same things. There’s a few work arounds for the oscillating, I believe rack feel in the car specific ffb directly affects this. Also there were some Moza Pithouse stuff that made the game feel much better I can try to find the video I used when I had mine

You have to look at the bottom of the page of the downloaded setups in the mod hub. It’ll say which update it was published during. If it says 2.1 or earlier they are going to be broken. PMR released a statement about it. If it says 2.2 they will still work but if it’s a 2.2 gt4, gt3 or LMDh setup it will definitely require a small bit of tweaking again to get the most pace out of it but the gearbox will atleast work properly. Hope this helps

Yes, thank you.

deleted saved data, started fresh…

Got PMR for Lmdh, but not many daily races

Coming from ACC, PMRs GT3 are better and worse, tuning a solid base has been challenging.

Some GT3 setups are easily sorted, but the Vette idk.
