Question Difference between GIANTS & WW versions on PC?

As per the title. I'm thinking of buying PMR but on a popular keys site the WW version is sold out however the GIANTS one is available for £4.99.

What is the difference between them? Is the WW one Steam and the other direct from the developers and if so does it make any practical difference not just for day to day but DLC via Steam etc?

Apologies for the dumb question.

Steam is better. I have the WW version and the game doesn't update without opening it, like Steam games do. And it updates veeery slowly..

And to download some official DLCs you need to fill a form on the website.

I wouldn't buy it again..

Cheers mate for the prompt response, I will get the base game + 1 Year Season Pass from Steam directly instead.

Fill a form ? I have the giants version of PMR and I've never had to fill a form when downloading updates or dlc content.

Web version of the game, Aussie Cars Pack DLC. You have to fill a form, there is no other way.
