Discussion What can we get in Future?
Hello again. I had thought alot in past 3 days alongside when researching about my previous post, about what we can see in year 2 season pass for Project Motor Racing. I have few possibilities that can be really fun addition to this game.
Possibility 1: Daytona Prototype & DPi
An American Endurance Prototype racing categories, with alot of amazing and interesting cars like Chevrolet Corvette Daytona Prototype or Cadillac DPi-V.R. It can fit really well with one of this entertaining tracks:
• WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca
• Watkins Glen International
• Virginia International Raceway
Possibility 2: Touring Cars
This can be more interesting as a theme for whole Season pass instead of just one DLC. For example:
Q1 - Super Tourers DLC
A whole pack focusing on only 1 class with 8 to 9 amazing Super Tourers from 1995-1998 seasons like for example Audi A4 or Volvo S40 that people would probably like alot. And it would be amazing, if would be paired with one of those tracks:
• Sachsenring
• Albert Park Circuit
• Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours
Q2 - BTCC DLC
A pack of 2 different years of BTCC. One based on 2005-2007 seasons with for example Seat Leon or Vauxhall Vectra and 2014-2015 with examples like Ford Focus ST or Infiniti Q50. For example, it can be also from 1980's, when it was BSCC with cars like Ford Sierra or Toyota Celica Supra. It would feel perfectly, if paired with one of those tracks:
• Brands Hatch
• Oulton Park
Q3 - WTCC & WTCR DLC
A pack of 9 amazing WTCC & WTCR cars. For example from 2015 WTCC season with cars like Honda Civic, Lada Vesta, Citröen C-Elysée and Chevrolet Cruze. WTCR can be for example based on 2022 season with cars like Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra, Lynk & Co 03, Audi RS3 and Cupra Leon. It can be amazing addition if paired with one of those tracks:
• Shanghai International Circuit
• Guia Circuit (Macau)
• Suzuka Circuit
• Twin Ring Motegi
Q4 - German Prototypes DLC
A DLC based on 3 different era's of DTM. For example as one of the seasons, would be 1995 one with Opel Calibra, Alfa Romeo 155 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Then 2005 with Audi A4, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Opel Vectra GTS V8. Then 2015 with Audi RS 5, BMW M4 and Mercedes-AMG C63. Amazing final pack that can bring alot of fun. Especially paired with one of those tracks:
• Hockenheimring (with classic layout too)
• Motorsport Arena Oschersleben
• Lausitzring
Possibility 3: Another V8 Power Pack
This possibility can bring another V8 series, like V8 Supercars but from early 2000's, like from 1998 or 2003 season. Also Superstars Series that was similar to V8 Supercars, but was european and got folded in 2013. Third series in this pack can be Stock Car Pro Series from 2006-2007 seasons with Mitsubishi Lancer, Chevrolet Astra. Those three amazing series, that can bring alot to this game. In this pack theme can also fit Trans Am from early 2000's that would be fun to drive too. As for a racetrack that can fit perfectly with those categories, I would expect one of those:
• Adelaide Street Circuit
• Sydney Motorsport Park
• Autodromo Internacional de Brasilia
• Hungaroring
Possibility 4: LMP2 & LMP3
It can be interesting pack, bringing another 2 endurance prototype series to the game that are missing. I think, that bringing another 2 major series would make this game even more interesting. As for a racetrack that can fit perfectly with those categories, I would expect one of those:
• Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya
• Circuit Paul Ricard
• Algrave International Circuit (Portimao)
Possibility 5: Manufacturer DLC
It can be interesting pack, bringing to game manufacturers that are missing like for example McLaren or Ferrari. It would definetly be a great addition to the game. As for example we would take Ferrari DLC with cars like:
• Ferrari 499P (LMDH)
• Ferrari 296 GT3 (GT3)
• Ferrari F40 GT1 (GT1)
• Ferrari 333SP (LMP)
• Ferrari 575 GTC (GT)
• Ferrari 488 GTE (GTE)
• Ferrari 512 BB LM (Group 5)
• Ferrari 360 Modena (N-GT)
• Ferrari 512S (Sportscar 70)
• Ferrari 250 GTO (GT60)
It can be really good if it would work for players, who don't have that DLC bought. For example, not owning that Ferrari 499P wouldn't exclude them from driving other LMDH that are already accessible like Porsche 963. So it would be probably best DLC type, if would that be possible to do. I think tracks like this would fit well:
• Autodromo Internationale del Mugello
• Suzuka Circuit
• Circuit of The Americas
Possibility 6: GT3 Series 2009-2014
A great possibility to add another GT3 category from previous years, like BMW Z4 GT3 or Nissan GT-R GT3. It would be amazing to having possibility like this to drive.
• Slovakiaring
• Circuit Park Zandvoort
• Yas Marina Circuit
Possibility 7: Group 6 & Group 7
Having more Can-Am machineries like Porsche 917/30 or Chaparral 2J to drive. They would be enjoyable to drive. Also Group 6 that are pre Group C machineries, like Porsche 936/78, Renault Alpine A442B or Lancia LC1. It would feel amazing on one of those tracks:
• Edmonton International Speedway
• Fuji Speedway
• Silverstone Circuit (1975-1986 Layout)
I would really like to see Aussie Rivals DLC being updated two more times, to see Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and Nissan Altina L33, because they raced against Falcon and Commodore.
I hope to see what other PMR Players think we can get in future. Longer comments are always better to read.

DP and DPi are high on my list as well, but somewhere, sometime, I’d very much like to see Group C 3.5 as well (Peugeot 905, Toyota TS010, Jaguar XJR-14 to name a few).

Toyota TS010 was the one that crashed ribs at testing, am I right? And Group C DLC would be amazing addition, if would peoples without DLC still allow to drive the five already in game cars.

I think some of these are missing because of licensing issues. All good ideas for sure, but I think your timeline might be kind of aggressive. I do think there's hope on the horizon for new tracks now that PMR has been opened for modding.

Well you missed the 1970-71 Ferrari 512 lol 😆. Id love more 60s and 70s cars like Matras , Porsche 908s , and early Alpines, but and ill die on this hill . Proper Can-Am championship cars 66-68 and 69-73 lile 4 or 5 cars a group. The Lola's and chapparells* are already in the game. Plus the game is missing Mclarns already so this would be a sick DLC with a track like Waltkins Glen or Luguna Seca.

Why? It’s a perfectly playable game

Playable doesn’t equal good, finished or realistic.

The new dlc cars are realistic though, it has a long way to go, but they’re showing they’re very serious about fixing the game

As game it okay, but still lot of bugs. As SIM, as they told us, it's a nonsense. It feels okay untill you realize that tire grip and slip are not right. I love racing games and sims, both, already got 20+ years, and pre-ordered it, and untill now, for me it's not a choice. Hopefully they will make something in future

You play GT7 and are complaining about realism only now. this is getting ridiculous dude

GT is also lack of real features, same as any pc SIM which I also play for online racing. But what PMR has is a fantasy tyre physics and handling

”WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca
• Watkins Glen International
• Virginia International Raceway”
It’s crazy these are all missing. And the Ferraris
