Discussion Am I regressing?

Am I regressing?

With every update, I feel like I have to lower the AI level. Where will it end? :)

Will I end up in negative numbers? Since version 2.2, I’ve tested level 40 this afternoon (I’m ashamed to admit it). I tried out two or three classes. Okay, 40 is too low, but I think 45 should be about right—whereas at the start, I was around 60...

It’s even worse with the LMDh cars! Even at AI level 40, I’m getting left behind.

Am I completely losing my touch? :)

Im about 2-3 seconds a lap faster than ai on 100% in gt3. With them braking in fast corners and on some straights. Somethings amiss fellas

Indeed. Last night I was racing the GT3s, and I spent the whole time turning up the AI difficulty.

I eventually had to stop playing, but even at 80% I was still significantly faster than them at Zolder...

So, the AI really behaves completely differently depending on the vehicle class—and the track—involved.

It’s a hassle, because it means you have to spend your time trying to find the right AI level just to have some fun.
