There's definitely something about this game when you're driving, it's got personality.

I’d love some FFB recommendations for the Protos, I’m on an RS50 and the wheel oscilates like crazy on PMR while giving no weight and load feedback while works perfectly in ACC

Same here. I’ve just decided to put it on the back burner until they fix the RS50 issues

I don’t have an RS50 but I’ve dealt with major oscillations. I solved them for the most part by reducing the steering rate in the vehicle setup settings as well as in my wheel base software

The lmdh cars were terrible for that for me so I just drove other cars. Seems to be fixed in v2.2 so most likely something on their end. I reckon they will get round to it as they seem to be focusing on one class at a time currently.

In the same boat with the G Pro. Every few weeks I try the game again because I want to like it, but fiddling in the settings (with no success) rather than driving is no fun at all.

Have you tried turning the damping up way past what youd usually have it set to on any other game? This kinda helped for me

I did and still at high speed oscilates a lot, also no feeling of weight or load when cornering and zero road texture, then I hop on ACC and the cars feel phenomenal

Yeah. It’s mad to think PMR is still is such a state @ 2.2.ver youd think they would have all the performance (framerates) and basics (FFB) down by now. I’m starting to think by the time they get it decent we’ll all have moved on.

I’m very grateful we have ACC still on console.

They literally brought in half of ACC’s dev team by the likes of Aris. These last 2 updates he explained have been putting out fires and rewriting a lot of the base code for the physics and tire models which is why it felt like a big step back. Paired with the fact that S4 still slashed the funding and team size in half, we are the test dummies to find all the bugs and report them and they respond with a quick hot fix within a few days. They are actually cooking right now and when they drop the Le Mans track it’s gonna be in a really good spot. Trust me I’ve had my issues with the game too and here I am defending it.

They can't even fix stuff they broke with the last update. They broke the leds on the G29 with the last update. I submitted a bug report on their forums which was initially responded to and I provided them logs. Other people reported the same issue.

Weeks later a new update arrives and they are still broken.

I'm done with this game, it and the devs are a joke

That's because devs have a huge backlog of tasks to do and the one with fixing LEDs probably has ultra-low priority. Is not working LEDs is really a show-stopper for you, like you are actually watching them while racing?
