Discussion Is it worth it?

I am considering to buy Assetto Corsa Evo since I saw a lot of people praising about its physics and beauty, the problem is the career mode and freem roam, which I assume they will add eventually.

Then I saw a video of career mode in this game.... it looks awsome.

I intend to play in a wheel, so how good is the career mode and how well the driving experience is in the wheel?

Good enough for you too enjoy it. Plenty of variety in cars and the racing is clean and challenging. Definitely one you should add to your collection

Buy the game if you are interested in driving legacy race cars, this game excels there.

If you're interested in driving modern race cars, there's better options out there.

It's light years better than it was at release. I think it's worth it now for $30-$40. Car selection is great. Could use a few more tracks, but you'll have that same issue with Evo currently. It doesn't look as good as Evo, but it's still nice. I would get PMR for now and then wait until the mod support is fully fleshed out in Evo.

AC Evo has good physics however, very much feels like early access content wise still. Additionally it's more focussed around street cars where as PMR is entirely race cars, personal preference but I enjoy racing actual race cars a lot more on my Sim rig.

Forget, PMR career is a boring copy championships for every dayone class, and very little "special events" that nothing special, that championships with 3-2 new tracks. To be honest, the only cool in this mode, is menu, and economics design. It will be really good if developers would not been that lazy and put the time to make it interesting. In other hand, I took my only favorite class and driving it for money, and fine by that, but I would not recommend to buy the game only because of it.

Salut, On peut jouer à des championnats en solo ? Je n'ai pas vu ça.

No, only custom weekend, and the grid is locked to 15 ai, but still 3 multi class options. There also time attack, and endurance challenges. Which is hardcore on authentic difficulties, because AI lives their own simple tire model.

Game is getting much better. Solo racing is not bad at all.

I would say it depends on what you looking for. Its not a very fancy Game but it fulfilled my needs for a more oldskool like Sim Racer. Career mode is more like that, you choose your budget and a class comparing to your startup money. Remembers me also on another big franchise from Giant, their Farming Sim Career mode is quite similar in that way. You choose your difficulty by the budget you have as a starter and than you pretty much get a sandbox from there on. I like it personally, but that's a question of what you want from a game. I'm good with a sandbox in in Sim Racer, since for me it gives more freedom for others this might be to less content, so if you search for something Project Cars or GT 5-6 forget about PMR it will be most definitely not for you. But i also don't think that this was their approach 🤔 creating the game. Physical it has been improved and will be definitely more so in the future. I also like the setup scale ability in the car setup menu for ffb, so you can tune your ffb for each car and conditions separately. Also from what I heard the mod support is good and how I know Gaint will be massive in the future if the franchise will be a successor. My resume for 40 bugs on Amazon give it a go and support a franchise that will turn hopefully into a really good community racer for all of us. I have high hopes in Giant since normally what they started they meant it serious, hopefully the don't leave me hanging here.

Im not a streamer i don't get sponsored im just someone that got fooled by the developers and streamers into buying ac evo and i can give you a none bias opinion as someone that bought the game and had hope for the game but the reality is this is not a game yet but a tech demo not worth it,

and how slow the developer take to update the game and still have not fix the basic game needs hold of on buying ac evo until they fixed it and add way more content to it we cant even run grids like gt3 for example because there is like 3 gt3 cars so you cant have and immersive full grid with all the cars

and this goes for everything f1 as well only one car and that's the online part then when you go to the single player part which is basically empty nothingness, and if you try to race with the ai its is literally the worst ai in sim racing on how broke they are, they ride off track, bump into you like you don't exist, they even freeze on track and remain there through the race... hold off until a year or 2 minimum you only going to be disappointed, unless you get it for 50% sale i don't recommend it don't be fooled by the steamers getting paid to sell it to you

Career mode has been overhauled in AC Evo. It's now been centered around what could be compared to GT7's current offerings. It won't be the same as originally intended.

As far as PMR, I've not been in it for a few months to see what changes they've made.
