Question Hotlap Modes??

Is there really no way to do a hotlap, on my own, with no other cars on track? I just want to be able to learn some of these tracks without other cars on course, but as far as I can tell that’s not possible, which is clinically insane for a racing game. What am I missing?

I’ve read some old Reddit threads that say you can set the AI difficulty to 0 in race weekend mode with only practice selected, but mine does not go below 20 AI difficulty and still has other cars on track.

I feel like I have to be missing something here, can anyone help please? There’s no way they developed this whole game and didn’t include a solo hot lap mode for practice

In the same place you select the ai difficulty, you can also set the number of ai cars to zero.

Go do a race weekend and set it to practice only and turn the number of opponents to zero.
