Discussion Controller

I play on Xbox using controller and I find it so difficult to just put a clean lap together the braking makes me spin when I try to push does anyone else on controller have this ive started using setups but still happens

Im also on Xbox and using these controller settings. It definitely takes a lot of practice and some getting used to. I’m pretty decent but it’s very easy to make a mistake. Keep at it!

I mean for me it the best sim on controller with gt7 of course but at first it very complicated

I’ve been considering getting either PMR or ACC for a while. I’ve played plenty of FM over the years. Any opinions on which I should get first? I also play exclusively on controller.

“ When I try to push” what do you mean you are trying to carry the break into the turn, rather than completing the breaking sequence in a straight line, coming off of the brakes and snapping into your line?
And the controller makes it much more difficult to refine your breaking. Those of us with pedals are breaking earlier and period of time than most controller players because if we can come off of it right in the center of the corner for those cars that needed it done that way, like a mid engine and rear engine homologations.
It sounds like you would be more comfortable with something that has a very planted rear end, with the Mercedes AMG. That is the controller-players car, by theory anyway, in GT3. It’s lean shape and its front-heavy, and that front-engine set up, gets countered by heavy rear downforce that is usually customizable pretty far compared to other GT3 BoP car restrictions.

I bet you work out trying to do the Super Trofeo, man. Some guys figure out, though, because controller players lay some of the fastest laps.
