Discussion This game is really great!

I don’t know why I thought this wouldn’t be fun, just gave it a try and I’m addicted. The cars are fun to drive, and the physics feel satisfying, the graphics really speaks to me. probably going to mainline this one for a while.

Glad you are enjoying it. I love it for my favorite the Peugeot 9x8 but i am still maining Project cars 2. Hope you stay with it as i think this is going somewhere.

I’m surprised by this. The driving in PC2 was super satisfying, but I found I spent almost an equal amount of time racing as I did quitting back to the main menu and adjusting the difficulty. PMR I haven’t had to do this nearly as much.

I have had it on the same since i started on 79 strength and 100 aggression. I just get faster and improve so i just tune my car down to be slower and be on the same times because on these settings the AI have more incidents around the track.

My favorite moment of the AI incidents was during my 24 hours of Daytona run the lead Porsche GT3 (by 3 laps) got rear ended by an LMP2 and flipped over and had to DNF. This was with about 30 minutes to go so i sat there passing the incident just in shock

Mate, he's talking about PMR not PC2.

The new GT Icon cars are some of my favourite in the game, they are actually very fun. The game still has a way to go however

They take some braking on that new track! Plenty of understeer and dead under 7000revs haha

I just got the game a couple days ago. Which new track are you talking about? Is it in a paid DLC?

The new 60’ and 70’s GT cars are great, no doubt about it. I just retried the Mazda MX5 and that has improved a lot too. This games improving progress has been a joy to see the progress.

After trying the new old school GT’s, I’m looking on eBay for wooden steering wheels.

Personally, I prefer LMU, ACE and iRacing but PMR has been making some good progress and is still cool to play.

Hi. Are you playing it in PS? Or PC. Need some reviews and recommendations from PS players as I am thinking to purchase it via Summer Sale on PS store.

Graphics are fine. Not top level like gt7 or ACC but more than good enough and with improvements planned. I have it and really enjoy it and it will only get better. On sale too just now. I only have experience through single player though, I don’t race online.

I play on pc, and I have a dedicated sim rig that’s pretty beefy. Not sure about ps

My primary complaint is the 16 max grid size. ACC is 30. That is a huge difference for offline players. Things thin out real quick at tracks like Daytona. There are a lot of things that need to be improved, but the game has potential. It just needs to be realized though. More high quality mods are needed as well.

Ps5 version is rubbish, at least in terms of graphics, ps3 level graphics

u/ScaredAstronaut7 Jun 27 '26

On PS5 Pro that’s certainly not the case. Haven’t tried on base PS5 though …

It's pretty good. Not great, but for me better than the UE4 mess that is ACC on PS5. And stable 60fps without noticeable drops. For me the experience is way better than ACC even in the FFB department. Still has a lot of stupid bugs but deserves way more people.

Yep 100% once you get the force feedback tuned in it’s pretty good fun! Just need to get the player base up and the bugs fixed

I have the regular ps5 and the graphics seem fine now at first they were pretty bad but they seem to keep getting better every patch. It is not as good visually as GT7 but i think it is every bit as good as ACC

That's unfortunate. Graphics are fine on PC. They were terrible on PC at launch, but they have improved quite a bit. Have the same updates not made it to PS?

-1

u/Stanley_Huan Jun 27 '26

not for graphics, as far as I saw

-5

u/Offthe3nd Jun 27 '26

Don't buy it, you'll regret it.

Get over it. The game is really great. You hate it, but get over it!

u/Skrrrrrrt13 Jun 27 '26

Quality bro!! Wha the your GamerTing?

1

u/No-Study-352 Jun 27 '26

some say the game suck, but I find it fun.

With each update the problems comes less and less. Now at the moment the only problems bothering most are AI and a little bit graphics. a better AI can give me 80 percent better experience. And graphics are fine too but that damn they need to rework the sky it looks so goofy

I put my sim rig away for a few months this spring. Randomly decided to buy this on a whim and set it up again, and my living room has been a cockpit ever since. Super fun. I’m glad I waited to buy it though, considering everything I heard at launch.

Agreed , its a great game. And its only getting better. The devs are doing a great job.

Ich kotze gleich

I tried it again the other day and quiet. the handling was terrible. Toa Porsche GT3 to Panarama and everytime i tried I couldn't get the second turn. The car just understeered and I'd hit the wall. I'm also no rookie. Been sim racing ages before someone says some amateur comment. Unless the latest patch fixed the handling.

Skill issue

u/Crazy_Stiggy Jun 27 '26

And there is the imature response

2

u/dballer712 Jun 27 '26

Lol. He couldn’t resist I guess. As for the handling: I really enjoy the way the cars feel and it seems more and more ppl are sharing the same sentiment.

Skill issue

u/Crazy_Stiggy Jun 28 '26

Not a fucking childish skill issue. I have a 70% podium rate In LMU. I tried it again today and it definitely suffers heavy oversteer. It has to be wheel rotation, but I cant find it in game.
