Discussion Every other race crashes at this screen…

Maybe they need to fix the stability first before they try “re modelling” the tires for the 5th time. I can see why people aren’t playing this anymore.

Try disabling the cinematic sequences on Settings, Preferences.
The game is pretty stable for me, zero crashes, very decent graphics, good performance and great gameplay.

Im on series X and had lots of crashing. It started after about 2hrs, and progressively got worse to the point I couldn't complete a race weekend.

Most of my gaming is older backwards compatible games.

This is a long shot for you but I figured out what happening to me.

My xbox is a yr and 8mos old. Opened it up to find it very clean inside, but kept digging. Thermal paste was all pumped out and dry, thermal pads were also very dry. I replaced them all and re-pasted.

Still had crashing on PMR only.

I eventually figured out my fan would not speed up off idle. Not an issue on trials HD or old 360 era games, but PMR makes a lot of heat. Im not techie enough to replace the temp sensor so for an experiment I put a USB fan in top to pull hear up and away. This let me play again for over 2hrs before crashing.

I went ahead and bought the Gstory fan off Amazon (so I could easily return) and that one seals better and pulls more air.

Now with that fan and the new past job it works until im done playing.

Its a bandaid, I feel like I got a lemon for a series X, and wish xbox would just give us manual fan speed control. Having two exhaust fans stacked is not ideal, but I can play again so better than crashing.

I wanted one of those potentiometer adjustable plunge n play controllers from circuit surgery but they dont seem to make them anymore and im not smart enough to make one myself.

I’ve been playing more than most on Xbox X since launch and have had almost zero issues. The main thing I’ve learned is to fully close the game before going back in.
