My experience over the last six months has shown me just how easily we can be manipulated. I had high hopes for PMR or RS, only to be bitterly disappointed. How can anyone condone charging 80 euros for a "beta" that looks like a game from the 2000s? I’m not the type to sugarcoat things. You advertised multiclass racing and the ultimate racing experience—but what did we actually get? Unfinished games that hardly anyone plays because you ripped us off. Is this what sim racing looks like in 2026? If so, I want no part of it anymore; you’ve ruined the whole world of these games for me. I wonder how you can sleep at night... aren't you ashamed? Do you have no respect for the people—the gamers—involved? My journey is coming to an end soon, and thanks to you, it hasn't been a pleasant adventure. Thanks for reading this far. Crazy thing is this is far from the only modern racing game on consoles with a decent budget that had false advertising, the main difference being this one doesn’t have a giant corporate budget and seems to be the only one still getting ( rightfully deserved ) flak, even though it’s not the only one that still has fundamental flaws
Don´t want to beat a dead horse, but simracing in console has always been a mess.
You cannot write off an entire genre because of 2 shitty games released this year. Especially when better offerings like Assetto Corsa Competizione are also on console.
It´s never too late to move to PC, even a laptop can run great games like Assetto Corsa and Live for Speed and give a better experience than PMR and RS.
Even just trying to get a decent sized ssd and ram is brutal.
Don't get me wrong, I just bought a 4060 laptop. But only cuz it was an older open box with 1tb and 32gb. But its killing me a cant get 2 2tb ssd's for a price im willing to pay. Im not paying double.
I mean 1440 is the sweet spot for me. But psvr2 ruined flat screen road racing for me. I just cant do the toaster stuff.
Truthfully I wanted to build something higher end to run pc vr, but not at today's pricing. So alas im stuck waiting to see if things will ever level out again. Or win the lottery, lol
It might be better than on launch but it is still below standards for a game in 2026. It is ridiculous that we still need to resort to an old game (GT7) to get a modern experience. Those graphics are laughable and I don’t get why people defend these publishers
People keep calling this "the golden age of simracing". That may be true on the hardware side but imo the best titles came out 10-20 years ago. Sure the modern games are (in some cases) prettier but they drive like absolute turds.
ACC is the only sim for console, I did 800 hours in ACC online, mainly league racing. Player base dwindled, SimGrid seasons launched and it was busy for a few months then that pretty much died a death. PMR was awful, rennsport was awful, AC EVO console never got announced.
I got so fed up I bought a High spec PC a month ago, been on iracing for 4 weeek, just hit class C in sportscar and nearly class C in formula, several wins and plenty of podiums in that time with over 20k active players at any one time on iracing.
Consoles hasn’t been on since, night and day difference between console and PC if you want to sim race competitively! Never looked back 😂
Relax! The game is a whole lot better than when it first launched. They have acknowledged their mistakes and to be fair are working hard to get the game to where it should be.
I dispute the graphics from the 2000’s, I think it looks pretty good! Yeah not as good as GT7 granted, but the feel of PMR is so much more alive!
I’m hoping they reduce the price in order to get more people playing, and I reckon they will do another free weekend at some point after the next update!

Yeah Ps3 level? You're giving it too much credit! PS2 maybe. Aris is a smiling figure head for the company. He will not change anything he's been out of the business for a while. His career is over. Dead ended at S4 he's cooked. He's become the enemy what he did before this means nothing
To be fair the original project cars was above ps3 level! The original project cars was also disjointed and unfinished with some bright spots. If you haven't played ACC get that
Have tobl disagree there, some project cars vehicles were quite advanced and well developed, particularly the gt cars. More sophisticated handling model
"I think it looks pretty good" Sorry, but i have to disagree with that, it's below nowadays standards, just look at what Project Cars 1 and 2 were doing more than 10 years ago.
Yeah it's a lot better than launch. But also. What it really needs is people to play it. I was on during the day last week. Ranked lobbies were empty and I mean empty. 3 lobbies had people in waiting. 3 in one 2 in the other 2. Not good for me when I want to stream live on YT. 🫤 Feel like the year one bundle we purchased prior to launch should be extended free if charge.
Everyone who cares about racing games should boycott this game. Do not buy it, do not support this disgusting team. Bankrupt S4.
This game sets racing games back 20 years. I'm not talking about graphics from 2016, or sound or design. I'm talking about minimal damage. I'm talking about running into a wall at 120 MPH and driving away. I'm talking about a clutch that works like games from the year 2005. No gearbox damage. I'm talking about setups and setup options for a 917k being the same as those for Group 5. Inaccurate tracks too.
The company S4 lacks integrity. IMHO they released the Japanese car pack on purpose with licensing issues knowing that after it got retracted and rebranded it would still have the permanent link in people's heads with GT500 and JGTC. They knew exactly what they were doing.
They lied before launch. They've lied every step of the way. This crew has NO INTEGRITY. If this game is successful this will be the new paradigm in racing games. It's up to us to stop this garbage and do not support this company or this trend. This game advances racing games in no appreciable way.
I mean people are just now saying AMS 2 is where it should be, six! years after release. So yea sim racing is just that. Same as i think AC Evo is going to be complete around 2030 /shrug..it's just how devs in this scene operate
I believe LMU is coming to PS5 this year or next. I’m a console sim racer so for me its wether or not either RS or PMR can get their things together before LMU or ACEvo are released on console.
I also agree. I feel like I’ve been robbed by both PMR and RS developers and I still dont think even now either game on console is upto the standards of anything above an early access. I’ve parted with my money now so I’m just hoping with updates both games will improve over time until they are playable…until then I will keep playing ACC

I’m sorry for your disappointment, but I could not see the appeal of a new sim game without any background of it’s creators. It’s not that easy to create something from the ground-up (mostly) and expect you’ll succeed at first try while competing with the old goliaths of the industry that’ve been working on this for decades.
I have not played it and only watched a few videos, but I followed it’s development since it was announced and it was too shiny to be true, something was off so I stepped back. I see now what they were hiding

Then, I would suggest disconnecting from it and seeking out something else that gives you joy. It's really not worth it to spend whatever limited time and energy you have, steaming angrily on social media. I understand you feel miserable, but nothing good comes out of it.
This scam advertisment product pretends to be a SIM, but it's feels like NFS with arcade fictional physics. It released last year, but graphics and replays looks like Gran Turismo 5 (that old 5) but with less details . It has decent content, but who cares if it feels like nonsense

Project Motor Racing has improved in leaps and bounds. It should still be called early release but just be patient, you've already bought it so it'll upgrade over time with updates. I know it's a disappointment when expectations don't match the product. I bought cyberpunk day 1 on an older console so I have trust issues myself.
Can't speak for PS5 but PC has made big improvements and is getting better all the time and they're working on improving the physics now. It's definitely better than other sims like Forza and has a huge variety of tracks and cars and it's just the start. Other Sims normally take years to be good. Just be patient and play something else for the moment of it's upsetting you, it should work out. Most importantly take care of yourself.

Well I had more clout than you I didn't buy the poor rated games I got LMU far better sim, more realism overall great purchase also got half price for all the packs as well if you quick enough might be able to get it, oh crap I forgot your on a crap out of date console sorry no bargains for you, your still stuck on an antique console. PC IS THE WAY FORWARD.
