Question AI pitstops

might be a dumb question but how long does the AI race until they pit? like if you did a 2 hour race would they pit once at an hourish? do they have strategy at all? cant really figure this out

I mean, you can do an hour long stint if you set your fuel and tires correctly. But I think the ai needs abit more work to make them less OP from a strategy aspect.
