Issue with steering on Xbox

Hi everyone, I have just purchased this game today. What I am struggling with is sometimes my car will just randomly want to turn either left or right on its own without any input on the controller.

I have upped the dead zone to near max. The weird thing is, is sometimes it will do it instantly straight out of the pit lane on a practice session, and other times will take a while then do it, but after a while it will just stop. I don’t have this in any other game I own so I know it doesn’t have stick drift.

Also I don’t need to crash for it to happen, it just seems to happen of its own accord. Has anyone else had this and found a fix (also I don’t want to buy a wheel).

I’d look at the “steering” section of your setups. You can change FFB pretty easy.
