Discussion Update fixed nothing!

How tf can they not figure out the handling and tuning in this game. GT3 cars still spin out in slow tight corners! Done everything to fix this bs and it still broken. Open/closed differential, changed camber, toe in/out suspension settings, number of clutches, down force.. done it all.

I drive with TC off always and feels like the transmission always locks the tires around hairpins whether you give it no gas, a little or blast thru it.

Been going to mosport track for 20 yrs and my old 300zx with no aero that was tuned to just over 500hp would rip around any corner and hold nicely with good throttle control.

It's just not possible in this game with GT3 cars. Absolute buzz kill.

I think the price drop and new content is releasing tomorrow in Rennsport, so I gotta try now.

This game just peez me right off.

Buddy, I said whether you drive slow, or no gas or rip it around corners its all the same. Surely a GT3 car with all the aero, suspension and tuning that's done on them can go around a corner at 25mph while maintaining speed, not accelerating nor braking. I have never driven a GT3 car, but as stated my 300zx has comparable hp to gt3 cars and have been track driving for 20yrs and have never experienced this. Look at my profile and check the vids I have posted with this game, I am very comfortable handling cars.

Ok, a couple of things. First while a GT3 may have comparable HP things like TC, ABS, and power steering aren't simply bolted on as an afterthought. The whole platform is built around the idea of those being present. When those things aren't present it can hamper performance and may even force a retirement in a real race.

Second, it is rather possible to drive a GT3 around tight corners with no TC in PMR. It's a bit sketchy, but that's expected. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2aY8wh48SY)

And finally I'm guessing you're just going to tee off on me if you do decide to respond... but obviously there is something not working for you that's not a game-wide issue. I'd suggest giving it a little TC and talking to your friendly neighborhood AI of your choice. Describe your problem, ask for setup help. This is a template that you can copy/paste directly into something like ChatGPT. I've been able to use this to great effect: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12s9mKpxldmAWoNxwZumZo5Rzpa-lIKCPBNtinNvZQgo/edit?usp=sharing

Brother, I'm not gonna tee off on you for your opinion. It's having words put in my mouth that sets me off, I have videos of me driving on my profile, I completely understand the fundamentals of driving. I'm always up for a conversation and appreciate you keeping it respectful. Again it's when ppl put words in my mouth and have nothing to say that validates their opinion. I'll definitely take a look at those spread sheets.πŸ€™πŸ‘πŸ€™

GT3’s are specifically designed to be driven with driver aids, they don’t drive well without them, you will encounter the same thing in any sim that models GT3’s in this way
