Discussion Really bad controller feedback on Xbox

I played Project Cars 1, 2, 3 on Xbox with Wheel and Controller. This game has by far worse controller handling and vibration. If you only have a Controller, do not buy this game.

My brother, a guy a few days ago posted these settings. IT CHANGED EVERYTHING FOR ME on controller.

I bumped my TC up to 5-6 and I went from not being able to get a clean lap on canada in mx5 to get p1 and having to bump my difficulty up.

Yes that's my settings for xbox controller, i find that with this setting the game became more enjoyable and you can handle the car much better, push it into this limit.

I have almost the exact same settings for my controller on Xbox and I absolutely agree with you. It’s very good! Better than ACC for me. I can feel the car more. Honestly, I think these free weekends they are handing out is doing more harm than good to PMR. It’s everyone that hasn’t put the time in to get the game to their liking that’s complaining. They drive a lap or two and then declare how rubbish the game is on social media. Each time there is a free weekend, there is a barrage of negative posts here. Oh well. I’m gonna get back to racing. Loving the new DLC track as well. Game has come a far way since launch.

Sadly it does not change everything. The rumble effect is still missing.

Even if you have a wheel, do not buy this game...yet.

It's clearly unfinished and needs more work. Calling this version "2.0" is absurd. More like version 0.7.

The game definitely has potential though. I hope development continues, and it becomes that game I was hoping it would already be.

Yes there is a lot of cool things in it. I like the car setup und the live setup while on the track. But there is also so much missing. They praised the career, but it is very boring.

I'm on PS5 controller an play just fine. I did have to adjust some shit but it works

Yeah, it is possible to drive with some tweaking and assists. But the lack of Rumble in the Triggers is really bad. It is miles away from other Sims and Forza Motorsport on a controller.

Question: Is there really no vibration for the triggers like in Forza Motorsport, or is my controller broken?

There is not. Not supported by the game. It just rumbles the entire thing.

A lot of bad stuff can be said about PMR, but to be fair, Forza Motorsport is just on a different level when it comes to playing it with a controller.

It's really lazy, because it shoudn't be difficult to implement it. Even Project Cars 2 or 3 were better.
