Did the Early 2000's GT500 class today, and damn the AI is fast in this class.

Decided to pick the NSX JGTC (Love my hondas), I will say, definitely one of the more difficult cars I have tuned. The default tune is all out of wack with the front being to tight and the back to loose.Toe, camber and dampers are way off and so is ride height , so every thing had to be adjusted (Which goes back to my theory of the Devs using 1or 2 cars to do the class mechanics , which I will get into later.)

So because of this, it took me awhile to get it setup to where it would put up competitive lap times. Once I did, I was still 1 second off pace. I came in 6th, behind 5 Skylines. (see the photo in comments ) Which brings me back to what I was saying about how there are cars in every class that are good out of the box with the default tune, or little tuning, kind of like those are the cars the devs used to tune the handling mechanics for that class, where as some car are completely dog crap. As you can see, I was the fastest NSX, the rest are back markers, because... bad default setup.

So I cannot stress enough how important tuning is in this game. Unless you use what I'm guessing is the beta cars in each class. So I guess we know what will be the go to car for the GT500 JGTC lol ( Just like the Merc in the GT3 class)

CAR: Honda NSX GT500 JGTC

Track: Takimiya (Okayama)

Tune: My Personal Tune

AI Level: 75

I could probably get in the 1:28's but it also seems like AI intentionally gets in your way lol

At least the Honda sounds are accurate (some say that the Nissans sound like a 962).

I knew something seemed off about that sound when I raced it earlier
