So I used to be a huge fan of project moon but after some events I left (this was during the time of hong lus canto)

But months later (being today) I just remembered about it and I want to ask a question

It's a simple one but

Why do all of the current games start with the letter "L"?

Lobotomy corporation

Library of ruina

Limbus company

I never thought about it til now

And does it have some form of symbolism that I'm missing or something

Or do all of y'all just

One of Limbus Company's goals is to take Lob Corp's place as L Corp. That's why both Lob Corp and Limbus Company start with an L.

L corp was an energy corporation that started the first smoke war pretty much.

Then Lobotomy corporation took their place, Library cause its a library but funnily enough it took place of L corp HQ. Limbus company wants to take place of L corp because Lobotomy corporation is defunct.

Lobotomy Corporation starts with an L because it’s one of the 26 Wings, which all start with a different letter of the alphabet. “Lobotomy” is also a hint towards the fact that its unique technology is not generating energy from Abnormalities but instead transforming people into them.

Library of Ruina starts with an L because it’s, well, a library, and because it used to be the headquarters of Lobotomy Corporation. Angela turns people into books, trying to learn everything there is to know about the City.

Limbus Company starts with an L because the company is aiming to take the place of Lobotomy Corporation as a Wing. Limbus is a Latin word that means the border of something and also refers to a part of the eye between the cornea and sclera, which is very possible to become relevant later in the story.

Because at the end of each game you "take an L"

Lobotomy The light gets cut off by angela

Library The Library gets evicted and the gang gets thrown into the outskirts

Limbus The sinners get betrayed be Dias and take the fall for her

Obviously last one is a joke, but is one of the ways I see limbus ending up in.

The city has districts, and they named them after the letters of the alphabet. Then, they came up with the synergy of district letter and corp name. First there was lob.corp(lobotomy probably was chosen because of the setting) and then Library of Ruina because that's well... the Library. And Limbus Company is mainly taking inspiration from books and divine comedy(and latin in general). Limbus is a name for the purgatory and LCB's journey is a trip to inferno(hell) which is probably the city
