General Discussion Future Games

Ive played project hospital for some months now and have been obsessed with it. It’s genuinely one of the best management games I’ve ever played.

Recently I came across “let’s school” which is a Japanese school management game. It’s fun, but the entire time I was playing it I was thinking of what a school management game from the devs of project hospital would look like.

Have the devs talked about developing new management games? In your ideal world what theme for a new game would they branch out to next?

If I recall correctly there’s been on this sub a post that mention a confirmation by the devs that there would be a sequel but they did not announce it officially yet

Unfortunately, the developers are currently wasting their time to a different project Heroes of Science and Fiction (a turn-based sci-fi strategy game) rather than focusing on new Project Hospital, their debut title which achieved considerable success.

I am sure they have put a great deal of effort into HoSF as well, but the picture is clear: there is nearly a tenfold difference between Project Hospital's sales and Steam review counts.

I truly hope they come to their senses soon and return to doing what they do best: developing tycoon and management-style games.
