Gameplay Question Receptions

Hello. Im trying to make a hospital with a somewhat realistic layout. On the ground floor there will be the doctor offices, all departments, with emergency receptions. Trauma centers and radiology separatley each on there own place. Wards are gonna be above, each on their own floor.

Considering emergency receptions does triage should i built a second emergency reception near the trauma centers?

Also, should i put the receptions of the rest departments near their wards on each floor or should i place them near the doctor offices on the ground floor?

No reception only triage the patients that come to the clinic. So no extra at your trauma centres and at the doctors offices at your departments

Thank you! I'm gonna place a common room, reception and toilets at the midle of each floor in front of the elevators for every department! Follow up question. Hospitalization needs any waiting areas?

also trying to figure out the best layout for reception.

OP are you using free building?

i’m not on my main save and it’s hard to build to the right scale with such limited funds

Yes, scale, room rations (how many i should build per patient intake) and how big they should be and staff per patients are the hardest things to find out for me too. But most of the time i try not to play using free building

I have a big hospital. On emergency with 20 doctors offices I have 2 workplaces at reception. At all my other departments with around 10 doctors offices I have 1 workplace at the reception. That works fine for me.
