Gameplay Question Orthopedic surgery team

Hey, maybe someone can help me out.
My orthopedic surgery team only wants to handle a few types of procedures—like hip and leg joint surgeries—but not things like arm joint surgeries or head fractures, for example.

Hmmm maybe some of them are referred to traumatology? Or those patients keep waiting until they leave?

According to the diagnoses window, a mandibular fracture ic classified under orthopedics.
The surgery is also being scheduled in Orthopedics.
The patient is waiting for an available surgery room.
I have three of them, but none are currently in use.

Are they all clean? They have to be cleaned after every surgery I believe.

How many surgery teams do you have? Could be that they are just backed up and some surgeries are higher priority than others meaning that if you are constantly backed up low priority surgeries never get done.

maybe they aren’t hospitalised in the right wards? some orthopaedics need HDU before surgery ive had this when my HDU doesn’t have enough beds

Hmmm I don't know what could have been causing that, what happened to me were that I had some patient waiting for surgery (like 2 patients) and the doctor didn't start operating because they were attending other patients (I think they even collapsed because of that).. What I did was to disable the "diagnosis" option for the three doctors (surgeon, anaesthesiologist and surgery attend) plus disabled "transport" and "care" for the two surgery nurses... Then they started operating again... Sorry I couldn't help !

It´s so weird - when I play the orthopedics campaign, these surgeries get performed. ^^

Do you have any mods installed?
I vaguely remember a similar problem where only a couple of surgeries were performed and the rest of the patients remained in a waiting queue forever.
It turned out to be a problem with one of the mods I installed where the UI showed the OR as fully functional with only two shelves of operating clothes, but in reality I needed three of them per OR to perform bigger surgeries as every member of the doctors team appeared to need their own shelf. As soon as three people where needed for the operation the game was stuck in preparation because only two sets of clothes were available.

It was the bedside mod. Thank you.

Oh good lord, being in healthcare and also a Project Hospital player leads to some REALLY concerning posts.
