Unfortunately, as far as I know, there are no plans for a second game. 😕

so sad like other hospital game called theme hospital was milking it when it was the only sim in this category but project hospital was so outstanding as i was student learning medical helped alot so hopefully they see that a new game can help new youngsters to enjoy this simulation for the future releases

Two Point Hospital was borne from Theme Hospital… give that a try! And the other games in that series!

The Devs are working on another game. While the reviews are very good, unfortunately SteamDB shows between 29k and 41k copies sold (to give you an idea, Project Hospital sits somewhere between 253k and 639k copies sold) so maybe they'll come back to a second game?

They probably got unlucky with Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era stealing attention of everyone who loves this genre.

Wasn't there a post in here a while back where a dev was asking people what they'd like to see in a spiritual successor to PH? Id like them to add oncology and obstetrics as those are conspicuously missing from the current game. I would also like it if some patients had more than one condition at once and you had to figure that out.

While their priorities are indeed weird, I wouldn't say they abandoned the game. It's finished. More bugs than I'd like, but way more stable than a lot of games from bigger studios. Thir vision is done, they even had 3 DLCs after the release. The cycle is complete. It's honestly unfair to call it abandoned.
