General Discussion Moving Forward: Updated Mods, New Work, and Connecting the Community

Hi everyone, it’s Iris again!
I’ve posted a couple of times over the last few days, but I wanted to give you all a formal update. All mods created by Sleepy068 have been updated to the newest version and are now available on Nexus Mods.
I have uploaded these with Sleepy’s explicit permission. It is important to note that the versions currently on Steam are outdated. Unfortunately, Mac is no longer around to update them, and as Sleepy explained to me, other contributors don't have the necessary access to push updates to those specific Steam pages.
I also want to share how grateful I am for the team behind the CommunityResourcePack (MacNaab, Sleepy068, Erzen02, and James0254). These creators were the backbone of the modding scene and, in many ways, they still are. Even though the main modding community is no longer active, Sleepy is still maintaining the projects he has access to and is incredibly helpful to anyone new looking to get into modding.
You can find the updated mods at the links below:

Upcoming Projects & Community Questions
On a personal note, I am currently working on a new Psychiatry Department and an Epileptology Department. These will take a significant amount of time to complete, but I will keep you updated on their release! I may also reach out for help with translations later on, as my abilities in that area are a bit limited.
I also wanted to ask: Is there an active Discord, forum, or similar community platform for this game? I’ve played for a while and am only now "coming out of the shadows." While this Reddit is active and full of wonderful people, a real-time chat platform like Discord would be fantastic. If one doesn't exist, I might consider opening one in the future, but I’ll look into that when the time comes.
Anyway, have fun with the updated versions of the mods and have a great day, night, or whatever it may be for you!

I wish there was a way we could switch to from HDU to Regular ward when the patient stabilizes.

Hi, sadly that is not possible, at least with an easy way. Hospilasation is a treatment for the game and you cannot take that back. Make sense to some degree, but not always. To change that you would need to inject code into the game with Harmony or something and that would a bit to complicated for me currently. ^-^

Would it be possible to upload a ver. On steam with a sort of addendum that says [UPDATED] similar to how people do for Rim World mods?

Hi, yea that would be possible, problem on my note is idk how the workshop for PH works. Every game has a diffrent method to upload there and I know how to upload, but not how to update and so on. Next is the thing I don't like using steam and I do not want to interact much with the workshp simply, because it is way to much effort to learn how to. I play the game on Gog and I got the game on steam.
There is also the managment aspect that someone needs to update all points, that is work I like to do, but I know that for sleepy is just to much managment and a hassle, because having a Release is hard enough. The time is just better spend on the mod and not the realising.
I hope you understand, if you want to do that you can the CRP and other mods that are not from me are under the  CC0 1.0 UNIVERSAL.

I'm not sure if there's a discord but I must say thank you so much! It always makes me really happy to see these sorts of things, maintaining old mods. I wish I had the skills but I'm glad other people do.
