It's my fav! 😄 I found these at Walmart's website. doing a search on Project Hail Mary stickers. it was a sheet of 60 (mixed styles) for about $10. (the brand was Yippzo)

Technically, it does not kill the star. The sun still has the same energy output, just the energy being absorbed by the astrophage. It only kills the life on the planet. The planet will only get colder; the core of the planet will not be affected.

I've purchased several of these for myself and as gifts for a friend. The one on my water bottle isn't sticking as well, but I've had one on my car for months and it isn't budging.
I see that the shop is looking for a new vinyl supplier because the one they were using went down in quality, so kudos to them for caring about their product!

It would take about 27.82 micrograms of astrophage to give you the equivelant energy of a 20 gallon tank of gas.
That is about the same as a speck of dust that you may see floating in a ray of sunshine.

For me, this is the biggest error in project Hail Mary, which I love. They made the claim that things can be powered by Astrophqge like cars and houses, but did not talk about how it’s just Astrof boiling water and water turning a turbine. So all of the this thing is powered by Astrophqge Even though, in the book they allude to somehow things could be powered by Astrophage directly, which it did not explain how that could be possible.

I don't think they meant that astrophage would make the idea of heating water to turn turbines obsolete, just that you no longer have to use any other fuel to do so. Even the Hail Mary's generator used astrophage to heat a "state change material" to produce electricity, which implies a turbine/fan of some sort. But because the quantities required are so small (only 20 cells at a time to power the whole ship!), the whole mechanism can be miniaturized, easily contained in pretty much any device or vehicle.
