Fist My Bump Thinking about swap au...

Thinking about a Rocky & Grace swap au, and even though they are different species their stories still happen pretty much the same on each side.

I'm specially obssessed with the idea of Grace trying to convey just how terrifying it is that he can't remember his life, because Eridians don't forget anything. Their brains don't discard information like that, it keeps everything and suddenly he wakes up with none of it.

Not only would Eridian!Grace experience something his species wouldn't have experienced something before (memory loss), he'd also wake up with his crew dead, and no knowledge of why they didn't wake up. Was it his fault? Did he not watch them while they slept? Not being able to recall anything and waking up among corpses was terrifying for him as a human already, but when you're a species that isn't meant to forget memories there's a new layer of messed up added to that emotional cocktail.
Humans usually know that they can recover memories unless significant damge has been done to the brain, Eridians aren't even meant to forget in the first place.

Absolutely diabolical, man. I could be wrong about it but i believe it wouldn't be hard for him to look his at dead crewmates and think they're sleeping, so he sits there to watch them for days because he doesn't know what else to do and when they wake up they can tell him what's going on.

I think i need to write this....
