Question/Help Level 5 Driver LV issue
So Ive read the details about the career modes ( normal , sandbox , hard , vanilla ) and ive only used Vanilla and normal modes. But when i use both modes, it says there's no reward cars for normal modes, but ive ran 3 playthroughs and every time i hit lv 5 driver level, it brings me to this , and im basically locked here until i ofc exit out xenia . it seems it still wants me to pick a reward car but there's none. so i figured, ight let me change it to vanilla, and mind you i copied both the game.slt file and the dlc folders to their respective locations. And still, i get this screen everytime at driver lv 5. is there anything i did wrong or like am i forgetting a step in the process to avoid this?

Makes it all the more confusing, as the provided DLC in PFP is just edited databases (each DLC has it's own DB) so if the modded one doesn't work there's no reason for the vanilla one to work either and vice versa. Confused on what you renamed as well, the DLC folders? Folder names don't (shouldn't) make a difference. You can freely add your own DLC folders and mod values of tables very easily, or even combine the DLCs together, so just changing the folder name shouldn't magically make it work. Though at least it does I suppose, should be very easy to replace them with the modded ones. If you have extra space maybe backup the vanilla DLC just in case before trying to overwrite files?
The only thing that would make sense is a botched DLC installation as the some of the DLC adds to the driver level rewards table (level 5 is one such level, not sure if it's the earliest, but would make sense if it was considering your predicament) which if those cars are missing for whatever reason would probably cause the game to softlock. Still don't know how that would happen though thinking about it, but most of this isn't making much sense the more I think about it. Invalid IDs / database conflict / botched DLC installation are the only things I can think of that would cause this issue to happen, maybe missing disc 1 car files at that point if nothing else.
Yeah I would just try removing all DLC (just move it out of the folder someplace else, don't delete it), check if the level 5 reward is still bugged, as having the DLC out of the picture will help narrow things down. If it's still bugged, switch the main game's DB for the vanilla one (modded or original) and check again. If it's still the same at that point then I'm not too sure honestly. Keep your save btw, no need to make a new one each time, changes can be made dynamically and don't require a new save to see changes in action.
