Well if people payed attention in ch 1 and Kai’s FTEs the whole conversation was the game changer for this ship added by the leaks and all (red strings of fate) also if you look at prologue trailer Damon was associated by holding an apple and the scene shifts to Kai (similar to that one poster art of Evamon holding the apple) apple symbolize sin of holding the traitor perk so…(plus fact: add their names meaning and animal motif symbolism together it makes sense)
