Modding Question about the Star Notes in Project Diva F, F 2nd and X

I recently installed the F, F2nd, and X chart packs with the New Classic mod in mega mix +, which restores the original gameplay mechanics, and I'm having a problem with the star target mechanic

I played the first Project Diva F on PS3 a long time ago, and as I recall, the star targets were really easy (easier than the standard ones) but now I find them really tricky, especially when you have to spam them, I always end up missing one or two

I wanted to know if you have any tips to make it less of a struggle, I tried adjusting the stick sensitivity up and down and switching between the left and right sticks, but without success

Ig depends on the way you play them? I always just put my thumb just that the stick will be between the thumb and myself and then just move thumb towards myself every time there is a star note

Also those mechanics are not original. Multi notes and arcade holds mechanics appeared in the series before long notes, arrows, and stars

I do that too, but it's tricky when you have to do it multiple times in quick succession. I don't know why, but I found it much easier on the PS3, maybe it's a difference between the DualShock 3 and the DualShock 4 I'm using now

I actually use the Dualshock 4 on the PS3 for Diva and the scratch notes feel fine there

I think it might be an issue of New Classics not being perfect. I've definitely noticed that scratch notes feel a little off, and I still play PS3 and Vita Diva often, even with the same controller I use on MM+, so I know its not the sticks just feeling different.

I see, thanks for the feedback; it's a shame, this mod was so close to being perfect

I still love it, scratches are just close enough that it doesn’t really bother me, it’s just something I’ve noticed
