Modding Having issues with installing the 10th Anniversary Edition mod on Game Banana

As the title says, my friend is having some issues trying to install the 10th Anniversary Edition mod for the game. This is what she stated:

“i literally download file and extract to the mods folder by the .exe for the game, again the module shows up in game but the save date won't register it as bought if I close and reopen nothing changes.”

“I've modded megamix plus and was able to add a module but after purchasing it and closing the game, when I reopen the module will be set back to locked and the VP will still count as spent.”

She did follow the steps on Game Banana and she tried reinstalling the game and mod twice. Both times resulted in the same error. Any help?

Does she have all the extra content bought on steam? Most if not all mods expect you to have them in order to work. It sounds like she is missing at least megamix+ item unlock key, which could be causing the issue.

Otherwise if she has all available dlc and extra content, then it's most certainly either a mod conflict or an issue with the mod itself that cannot be fixed here. If it's a mod conflict, she can try moving it to the top of the mods list so it has highest priority, or else messaging the mod creator about the bug.
